Alexandra feels like a horrible mother because of the thing that happened in the last chapter so, she's doing a bunch of dumb shit that advised by someone's book (like the child phycologist in the last chapter, their book) and Nicholas and Alexei feel uncomfortable as fvck with these changes but they go along with it for the most part
