* Cam's POV *
"Okay, the truth is that when I got home, I got in a fight with my sister and she kicked me out. And I wanted to know if I could stay here for a couple days. Just until I get a place of my own.. You don't have to say yes or anything, I just wanted to ask.." Cam explained quietly.
"Oh Cam. Of course you can! I'll make room for your clothes in my closet. You don't have to worry about a thing." I said excited.
Cam hugged me and spung me around while he said thank you about 200 times. He finally put me down but kept his hands on my waist. He looked me in the eyes and whispered "Thank you Lia. I love you so much! Thank you." with a huge smile.
* Lia's POV *
I'm glad we're going to live together now. Once I'm back home from my date with Carter I'll fix his clothes and everything. This is going to be great. But there's something in his voice... We've said "I love you" to each other a billion times before. But this time.. His "I love you" sounds honest, full hearted. Like he truly means it. But, that can't be. He doesn't see me that way.. Does he..?
We heard a knock on the front door. I looked out my window and saw Carter.
"He's here." I said with a smile.
"Knock yourself out kid." Cam said as he hugged me goodbye.
See, he doesn't like me. He's letting me go.
* Cam's POV *
Cam, let her go. Don't cry. Just let her go. She deserves happiness. She doesn't like me like that. Let. Go.
* Lia's POV *
We finally let go of each other. I grabbed my purse and told him to make himself at home.
"You'll stay in my room, so fix your stuff however you want. I'll let Nattie know you're staying here with me. I'll be back soon." I said with a huge smile.
"Okay. Thanks Lia. I'll be waiting for you." Cam said with a smile.
I heard Nattie open the door and say "Hi Carter, I'm Nathalie, well Nattie as Lia calls me. Nice to meet you. She'll be right down. Can I interest you in something to drink?"
Wow she sounds sophisticated.
"Thank you Nattie. And I'm good. Thanks for offering though." Carter replied.
I took a deep breathe and walked down the stairs. I saw Carter's jaw drop to the ground. I was hoping that was a good thing. I watched him as he stood up slowly.
* Carter's POV *
WOW!! Look at her! She's stunning!! Oh my God, I'm so lucky!
* Lia's POV *
"Hi Carter.." I said shyly.
"Wow Lia! You look beautiful!" Carter complimented as I blushed.
"Awe Carter. You're too sweet" I said shyly still.
"Shall we go?" Carter asked.
"Yeah, but first I have to talk with Nattie about a little emergency we have going on." I said to Carter as I put my sweater and purse down next to him.
"Okay. I'll wait for you. Take your time." Carter said happily.
Nattie looked at me and walked to the kitchen.
"Lia, what happened?" She asked.
