Chapter 9

* Lia's POV *

We arrived at Olive Garden. Carter got out of the car and walked me to the door. This night was perfect.

Wow, Carter is perfect in every possible way! He's sweet, caring, affectionate, adorable, silly, cute. Ugh! He's flawless! I am so lucky! I literally can't believe this is actually happening!

"Lia, is everything alright?" Carter asked worriedly.

"Huh? Oh yeah. Everything is perfect! I was just trying to remember if I finished all my homework. But yeah I did. No worries" I smiled happily snapping out of my thoughts.

"You sure? Cause if you have to go home, I can drop you off early. We can do dinner some other time." Carter offered.

"No, I'm sure. I'm glad I said yes. Tonight has been perfect." I blushed with a warm smile.

"Oh, but the night is not over yet my darling." Carter said as he put a strand of my hair behind my ear and ran his thumb on my cheek.

I blushed. He made me feel, confident. I really liked him. I felt like I was slowly falling for him. His smile, his touch, everything about him was perfect.

"Good evening, umm, I have a reservation for Carter Reynolds." Carter said as we reached the front desk.

The young man looked through a binder.

"Ah, yes. Mr. Reynolds, right this way." He said, leading the way.

Carter held my hand as we followed the young man to our own little table in the private party room.

We were the only ones in here, I liked it.

"Here we are." Said the young man showing us our table and setting down 2 menus.

"Thank you sir." Carter smiled politely.

"I'll be back in a little bit to get your drink orders." He informed us.

We both smiled. Carter pulled out a chair for me to sit. I sat down, then he sat across from me and smiled.

"So, you having fun?" Carter asked with a huge grin.

"Honestly Carter, this is the most fun I've had in months! I'm enjoying every single second." I said with a huge smile.

"I'm glad you are. I was a little worried my plans for tonight might be a little boring, so I was just double checking. I'm having a blast! You're amazing. I see why Cam likes being with you 24/7." Carter blushed.

"I'm glad we're both having fun. And really? I honestly consider myself a very boring person. Cam is usually the one with all the ideas of things for us to do and stuff. I just play along, his ideas are mostly insane, but extremely fun." I smiled as I thought about our stupid videos and pranks we've done with Cam.

Carter just smiled and said, "Yeah I bet."

"Do you know what you're going to get to drink?" Asked our waiter.

"I think I'm going to go with water. And you?" I asked Carter shyly.

"I'm going to go with a glass of water as well." Carter said politely.

"I'll be right back with your waters." Said Bruno, our waiter, we smiled at him and he left.

I looked at the menu, everything sounded delicious. It was hard to choose something. I looked at the menu for about 2 minutes. I finally decided to go with the fettuccine Alfredo pasta.
