Chapter 27

Felix needed to go back for Hyunjin, and that's what he did. He had nothing prepared knowing that he might get killed or injured, he just wanted one of his best buds to be with him and the rest of his gang.

After he told Y/n to go with Minho he straight went down to the basement, no one, no Seonghwa, San, or Wooyoung. He couldn't spot if Hongjoong was there or not, all he could see was one of the doors open and from his memory he remembered that it was the one that they had Y/n in.

Someone was definitely in there.

He didn't have a choice, if Hyunjin was in pain at this moment he couldn't just stand there and do nothing waiting for a plan to pop up in his head, he needed to step in.

With a little hesitation, Felix stepped inside the room with a pointed gun at the figure. He saw Hyunjin laying on the ground and there was blood on the ground near where his head was placed. His gun was pointed at Hongjoong but his hands were a bit shaky.

Hongjoong wasn't surprised at all and had many ways for Felix to stop what he was doing. "I won't hesitate to shoot him." He said to Felix while taking out his gun to point it at Hyunjin.

Felix lowered his gun, he hoped that Chan and Changbin would notice what was going on. Hongjoong's face stiffened and he turned his gun to Felix and quickly moved it down shooting his leg.

Felix fell to the ground with a cry and Hongjoong approached him. "You have the information?" He put his gun on Felix's neck to make him answer as a threat.

"I don't have it, I did take it but I didn't take it out of this building. You kill me and it won't do anything, you won't get your information back." Felix replied honestly. He hoped that the others and Y/n got out of here.

Minho led Y/n back to the van and they all reached there safely. Seungmin slid the van door instantly making Changbin and Chan flinch. They all sat in their seats but Chan seemed very concerned.

"Where's Felix and Hyunjin..?" Chan asked Y/n.

She slowly turned her head towards Chan looking down, trying to say the words. "T-They're still in there." Chan could tell by just the look and tears on Y/n's face that something happened. He needed to go back.

"Stay here, ALL of you." Chan said to everyone in the van before he slid open the door to go to Ateez's headquarters.

Hongjoong was getting impatient and started to wonder what the hell San, Seonghwa, and Wooyoung were doing. Felix needed to be smart, Hyunjin's life was on the line and he, himself, was also slowly losing blood. He couldn't bear to see his partner laying there.

While Hongjoong turned around and looked at the hologram opened from his watch, Felix slowly tried grabbing his gun just a few inches far from him. He couldn't move his leg and it slowly started to feel numb.

"Ah I see, you all escaped." Hongjoong spoke, looking up from the hologram. Felix got his gun and held it with both of his hands pointing to Hongjoong's back. Once he turned his body around to Felix, he shot him at that moment on his chest. With a deep sigh of relief, Felix tried getting up but his leg failed him and he couldn't.

For the sake of Hyunjin, he needed to. He tried getting up again and with a few whimpers and whines he did. He couldn't move that leg and almost fell while getting up. Hongjoong was still moving so Felix panicked a little and shot him again in shock. "Damn, this ones a man." He said to Hongjoong who was most likely now dead.

It was stupid of him to do this but before he could pick Hyunjin he checked his pulse to see if it stopped or not. He got a bit scared since his pulse could have stopped but it didn't, his pulse rate was just low and that made Felix to start working faster.
