Chapter 22

Dawn.

Everyone was up just in case, including Y/n, but they didn't go to ATEEZ's headquarters. Stray kids know that ATEEZ had something planned and they weren't too ready.

Chan had told everyone that they may have been followed. They got a bit nervous and said that they would all stay alert. A few hours after dawn when it was early morning they were serving breakfast at the lobby. Y/n and Hyunjin went down to get breakfast for everyone.

Hyunjin waited for Y/n further back while she was in line waiting for her turn. There were pancakes, bread, egg, avocado, cereal and much more. Y/n thought that getting pancakes would be the best, I mean who couldn't like pancakes?

She grabbed a stack of them and when she was about to head back she bumped into a man wearing full black. All she could see were his dark eyes. Y/n apologized to him and he muffled in response since he was wearing a mask.

Hyunjin yelled from afar. "Y/n, everything alright?" The man's gaze switched to him and he locked eyes with Hyunjin but quickly turned away. Y/n nodded to Hyunjin and excused herself from the man and went back.

"Who was he?" Hyunjin asked a bot concerned.

"I'm not sure, I just bumped into him." Y/n responded, Hyunjin then slowly nodded still a bit uneasy on the guy. They both went back upstairs to Chan and Changbin's hotel room. Everyone was gathered there so they all ate breakfast together.

"What's the plan for today?" Minho asked Chan after finishing his breakfast.

Chan was silent for a moment and thought about it. "It's too risky going anywhere because we might have been followed. Yes, it was careless of us but we have to deal with it now. Let's stay inside the building and try harder to find a way to get inside their headquarters." Everyone nodded in agreement.

Y/n was a bit worried and anxious about the past few days. Mostly when she found out about Ateez but she felt more uneasy when the members came back from fighting with them. She just brushed it off and ignored the feeling like how she usually does, but inside, her heart was pounding and she felt scared. It was an uneasy feeling and it was uncomfortable. Y/n has grown closer to Stray Kids as she's been living with them for a couple of months. 

She couldn't stop worrying.

All these negative thoughts and questions came in her head that really put her down. It was best for her to focus on something else, but what?

Jeongin gently rubbed Y/n's shoulder, he noticed that Y/n was probably a bit anxious since her body language was showing it. Y/n gave a tiny smile to him.

Hyunjin sat beside Y/n and took a glance at her a few times. He really fell for her huh..?

Once everyone was done eating they all planned out what to do today. "Hyung, I have a device back at our headquarters that's perfect and more advanced for hacking in." Changbin said.

"I need to get refills for my gun, ran out." Minho spoke up. Chan decided that the three of them would go back to headquarters and get what they needed.

"Changbin-hyung can you open a layout of ATEEZ's headquarters so we can get an idea of the place?" Hyunjin spoke up, still sitting beside Y/n. He kept taking glances at her while speaking.

"Yes, I have it opened." Changbin said, turning his laptop screen to Hyunjin. Hyunjin kneeled forward while sitting and had his fists clenched. He started analysing the place. He squinted his eyes. "Why the hell do they have a big freezer room?" Hyunjin asked with confusion. "Anyways, in that room there's an opening from the roof."
