Chapter 9

"You were never a father to me." I said to my so-called 'dad'.

"Who the hell were you with." Father said with an aggressive voice at me.

"Can't you use your tracking device or whatever to hunt them down?" I said back at him.

"It would only tell me where the gangs would be, not you." He told me. Father did have a point he wouldn't know who I was with. So did he know that Stray Kids took the device?

"Who took my tracking device Y/n?! I know you know who!" Father yelled at me, making my heart beat faster.

"I'm not telling you!" I screamed back at him. He walked closer to me making me feel anxious. He slapped me....no matter how much he hated me he never physically hurt me. No tears came out of my eyes as I held them in.

"Who were you wi-" Father shouted but he was interrupted by something.

I was getting a call from my phone.

Father snatched it out of the pocket on Felix's jacket that I was wearing. He picked up the phone.

A familiar voice came from the call. "Y/n...? Where are you?!" It was Hyunjin. He spoke with a soft voice. Shoot.

Father looked at me and gave him the address to where we were just now. Before He could turn off the call I was able to yell. "No don't come here Hyun-"

He turned off the call. "So you know him?"

I stayed quiet. If they came everything would be a mess. They would have to give up the tracking device and if not they would most likely get hurt.

Father held my face, squeezing it. "Never stay quiet to me." He let go of my face and walked out. It made the slap mark sting even more. That's when a tear shed. It hurt so much. I really hope Stray Kids come and get me, but at the same time they shouldn't.

Hyunjin POV

I called Y/n, someone picked up and I immediately spoke."Y/n...? Where are you?!" I spoke with a soft voice that I rarely speak with to anyone......except for Y/n. I heard a male's voice instead. He said an address and my shift went to Chan-hyung. At the end I heard a girl's voice, Y/n's voice."No don't come here Hyun-" She was yelling, but the phone hung up.

"Who was that?" Chan-Hyung asked.

"I have no clue." I answered.

"Let's go then." Felix said immediately.

"Wait! We don't even know where this place is! We have to think smart before going." Jeongin had said. He was right though. We have been in a situation similar to this.

"It's near the restricted area we went to. Just a bit further from there." Changbin-Hyung had said.

Seungmin and Jisung went to the computer room with a USB in their hands. We caught on what they were planning to do. All of us left and went to the place we were told, hoping Y/n is alright. 

We got out of the van and went inside the place.

"Wait-" Felix had called out but I ignored him and barged inside. I'm an idiot I know. 

There was a man there....someone I met earlier and ended up getting hurt instead. I slowed my pace down when I saw him and Y/n. The other members came behind me.

"Didn't we meet earlier?" Y/n's dad looks at me.

"Let her go." I said. Damn I even felt how my voice sounded cold as ice.

"Give the device and you can have her." He said simply.

Y/n's hands were tied up together but she could still stand up. "Don't give it! You can save thousands of people's lives if you keep the device. One life isn't worth it!" A strange feeling hit me. But that one life is yours.
