Embry pov:
I spent at least 45 minutes rehearsing what I was going to tell her but every time I thought I had finally figured out a way to explain, I decided that explanation wasn't good enough. 'I'll have to show her instead' I decided. I raced over to Sam's house at around 11am for some food and to get some advice from Sam and Jared who knew this situation all too well, as both of them had imprinted.

"Look who it is" Jared grinned through a mouthful of food. I rolled my eyes and dished myself up a massive plate of sausages and eggs and got to work. I knew the pack were happy for me as they no longer had to put up with my whining- although now they had Jacob to contend with and he was easily ten times worse than me. I was finally starting to allow myself to be happy because everything was falling perfectly in to place. The only thing I didn't have control of was Luci's reaction to this entirely new situation. I decided I had to tell her today, the sooner she knew the sooner we could start out new life - together. I sighed in content at that thought before rough hands on my shoulders brought me back to reality. "Hey man" Jake blurted out "today's the big day huh", "yep" I mumbled back through a mouthful of food. The boys could all tell how nervous I was and so I was thankful that they didn't rub it in my face too much. My phone suddenly pinged and i quickly glanced at the text

Luci: hey Em, I was planning on us making pizzas together for lunch today if you're up for that ?
Embry: That sounds amazing Luce, I can't wait. I'll be round in about 45 minutes x
Luci: perfect, see you then ;) x

My heart was racing and I was absolutely buzzing with excitement to see my girl. 'Hmm, 'my girl' has a nice ring to it' I thought to myself. I might make that an official thing today too. I devoured the rest of my food and quickly washed my plate in the sink before waving goodbye to the lads and racing home to grab a quick shower. I really wanted to impress her so I used the expensive aftershave I got from my Mom years ago. I knew she wouldn't care what I was wearing but I still wanted to put in an small effort so I threw on some black sweats and my green hoodie. The journey to her house seemed to be taking forever until all of a sudden I was pulling into her drive. I suddenly became really nervous but I managed to make it up to the door with no problems. The sight of her beautiful face made all my worries disappear and I enveloped her in a hug before she could say a word. "Wow Em you look really good, and you smell amazing" Luci beamed out at me as a small blush began to creep onto her cheeks. "All for you" I whispered back already getting lost in her eyes. "Come on" she giggled pulling me through the doorway with her gentle grasp.

Luci's POV
I smiled to myself as I welcomed Embry into the house. He had really put in an effort and I was taken aback by it I had to say. I began my telling him my plan for the day. "So first I was thinking we could go for a small hike or something, then come back and make the pizzas and then finally watch a movie" I trailed off awaiting his response, "sounds great Luce" Embry said with great sincerity. We got into his car shortly and we chatted away the whole time until we got to the hiking path. To be honest it was more of a walking trail and it required minimal effort which was why I picked it - I did not need to be getting all sweaty in front of him for the wrong reasons.

We casually strolled along the path until I felt Embry begin to slow beside me. He suddenly gripped my hand and began to tug me off the trail and into the cover of the forest. "What's up" I questioned him searching his eyes for an answer but they gave nothing away. He took in a sharp breath, "Luci there's something I have to tell - er show you" he began hesitatingly "it's probably gonna freak you out but I need to you trust me and promise you won't run away". Confusion began pouring down on me as I didn't know why on earth I would ever want to run from him, "I promise Embry" I nodded confidently at him not wanting to give my nerves away. He nodded back and took a deep breath in letting go of my hand. He stepped back and he began to pull down his trousers shocking me, "Embry what are you doing" I whispered nervously. He briefly met my gaze but then continued to remove other pieces of his clothes, "I'm gonna take off the rest and it's up to you if you want to turn around" he whispered to me. I immediately turned my back as my mind started playing out all the possibilities of what was happening
•did he expect me to take off my clothes too
•did he expect me to do something with him right out here in the middle of the woods
•was he planning on running to the beach to go skinny dipping
•had he simply lost his mind
