It was a cloudy Friday morning in Forks high school and I desperately just wanted to get home so I could get ready to go to Embry's place. During lunch I had zoned out until I noticed Bella coming towards our table. I quickly sat up and listened to the conversation- something about Angela seeing giant wolves. Mike and Jessica were arguing that there's no such thing in Forks when Bella butted in "they're real, Dad's been getting loads of reports at the station, it's starting to scare some of the residents" she finished while sitting down and the table. She turned and gave me a small smile which I returned warmly. "That's the last time you'll doubt my girlfriend you clowns" Eric added.

School finally ended, thank god I thought to myself. Hopping in the drivers seat of the truck I drove us home as fast as Bella would let me go. Once we reached the house I tossed Bella the truck keys and sped inside, going up the stairs taking 2 at a time.
I hopped in the shower felt my body relaxing at the hot water running down. I detangled my hair and washed it with my signature vanilla shampoo and conditioner set. Once I was finished I stepped out and washed my face slowly and methodically. I chose to wear a natural but of makeup just because I felt like it. Choosing what to wear was difficult and in the end I went for style over comfort, picking a pale blue crop top, some black jeans and a red cardigan. I added a few rings and a hairband to complete the look. Smiling to myself I glanced at the clock. It was 6:30 that meant Embry would be here soon. "Bella are you nearly ready" I called to her, "almost" she replied. I had asked Embry to drop her off at Jake's on the way to his house and he agreed.

My phone beeped and a message from Embry flashed across the screen signalling he was here. Grabbing my bag and Bella we left the house leaving a note for Charlie. I had also cooked him dinner as he usually came home from work so late these days he didn't have much time to make food. I skipped towards the car and got in the front beside Embry while Bella sat comfortably in the back. The journey was quick and we all chatted together easily. It made me happy to see how well Embry and Bella got on with eachother, just in case something was to happen between Embry and I.
We pulled up at Jake's and he greeted us at the car opening Bella's door for her illustrating his chivalry I'm sure he thought. We said our goodbyes and continued on our way to Embry's place.

Five minutes later we arrived and I was surprised at how beautiful his house was. It was an adorable 2 storey house and although it was small it's character definitely made up for it. It was just Embry and his mom in his family, he never knew his dad. We walked up to the red door and Embry held it open for me. The smell of smoke and pine was evident and I breathed it in, it was what Embry smelled like to me. He brought me into the kitchen and sat me down at the table asking if I was hungry "I'm good, I just ate" I responded and I watched as he shrugged and began to make himself a sandwich and put a pizza in the oven. I giggled to myself at his insatiable appetite ignoring his mock offended look. 30 minutes had passed and it was clear Embry was itching to watch the movie. He picked it - a mild horror. I didn't hate horrors but they definitely weren't my favourite. The popcorn was made and we sat on opposite ends of the couch, Embry lazily sprawled horizontally and me curled up at the end, our hands brushing over each other as we both reached for popcorn. I was half daydreaming when a zombie popped up and stared right into my eyes causing me to leap over and bury my face in Embry's chest insisting that he tell me when it was safe to look again. He chuckled at my antics but didn't seem to complain when I was snuggled into his body. "It's safe to look" he murmured peering down at me. I didn't move for a minute savouring the closeness. He seemed to understand and manoeuvred himself so I could sit on the inside of him touching the back of the couch.

Embry's pov:
I couldn't describe how I was feeling right now. On top of the world, on cloud nine. With her pressed against my body I was just so happy. I had already confessed my feelings and it was just a waiting game now. I felt her shift so she was wrapped under my arm and she sighed in content when I gave her a little squeeze. Her hair smelt so strongly of the vanilla scent I had grown to love. The movie was irrelevant, I only had eyes for her. I reached down and grazed her cheek with my fingers and cupped it with my palm. I could feel her heartbeat start to pick up speed and she gazed into my eyes, and I felt my heart doing the same thing. I met her gaze and glanced down and her lips before returning to her eyes. Ever so slowly I held her gaze and lowered my head to press my lips to hers. Her lips molded around mine as if she was made for me. Leaning up into the kiss she quickened the pace. She reached up to run her hands through my hair and I groaned unintentionally making her giggle against my lips. I started to pull away feeling my cheeks get warm but she brought me down closer to her and she pulled herself so she was lying on me. I ran my hands down her back resting at her hips and she tightened her grip in my hair. I loved that feeling and I think she knew it. We continued like this and I lost track of time until she pulled away, both of us gasping for air. Smiling coyly at me "I think I heard a car" "Damn, that's mom. We should probably... uh" I breathed out stuttering and she reluctantly pulled herself off me and curled back up in her original spot.

Luci's pov:
My heart was racing and I knew Embry's was too. "Embry I'm home" a cheery voice called, I guessed it was his mom and I was right because the head that popped round the door held great resemblance to Embry. He jumped up off the couch and hurried to introduce me. He wore a massive grin when he pulled me to his side and introduced me to his mother Tiffany who greeted me with a delighted smile. "How are you my dear, would you like to stay for a bite to eat" "Embry and I were just about to go for a walk actually but thank you for the offer. I'll definitely take you up on it another day". I replied warmly liking the woman already. I moved for the door and Embry said he'd be out in a minute. Nodding my head I skipped out and sat on the porch step waiting for him to come out. I heard the door open and he stepped towards me grabbing my hand to help me up and keeping hold of it. The beach wasn't far from his house and we soon heard the crashing of the waves. I leaned my head against his shoulder and murmured how happy I was with him and he whispered the same thing back to me. We continued like this for a little while until I saw the time and realised it was time to get home.

Bella had already been dropped home so it was just Embry and I in the car. He pulled into the driveway and took out the key turning to face me. "I dunno bout you but I had a pretty amazing day" he began while I nodded in agreement, he paused before starting to speak again "I was wondering if you wanted to go to see a movie with me... like on a date" he cautiously finished. "I would love to go on a date with you Em" I replied my words laced with happiness. He blushed before leaning in to kiss my cheek jumping back when a figure knocked on the window. "You're lucky I'm not Charlie, or else our Embry here wouldn't be smiling for long" Bella interrupted with a smirk. Sighing I whispered goodbye to Embry and trailed inside already excited for our date...

So I hope you guys loved this one, I put a lot of thought into it and hopefully you guys will see that x
