"It happened on the day L'Manburg secured their independence..."

"You WHAT?"

"I traded with Tommy. L'Manburg is free and I have both of his discs!" Dream says, his voice calm compared to my emotional one.

"WITHOUT CHECKING WITH US?"

"It was a heat of the moment deal, Y/N."

"Dude, we're a team. You can't just make a deal like that without us!"

"Actually I'm fine with what he did-"

"Shut up Snapmap."  I snap, cutting the other boy off.

"Dream, this war was not just about you! Some of us actually wanted to stop L'Manburg and would do WHATEVER WE HAD TO DO to stop them. But nooooo, you're Dream, your decisions are never to be questioned, you're too powerful! You're most important and everyone else can just go f*ck themselves, right?"

"Y/N, what are you so upset about? You had no stake in the war. You didn't even lose anything!"

"I LOST PRIDE, DREAM! I SWORE I WOULD F*CKING MURDER THAT GIRL ONCE AND FOR ALL AND NOW I CAN'T BECAUSE YOU WENT AND MADE PEACE!"

"This isn't about whatever personal vendetta you may have against any citizen of L'Manburg!"

"Really? Cause that was the only reason I fought in this f*cking war! It wasn't to help you! I could care less what happens to you guys!"

I can't tell how Dream reacts behind his mask, but I can see Sapnap and George's reaction clearly. Hurt briefly flickers across George's face as rage fills Sapnap's.

"I think you should go." Dream says coldly.

I stare him down best I can before turning away. As I leave, I give them one parting gesture.

It's not a nice one.

As soon as I'm out of sight of the community house, I break into a run. I push through the woods, ignoring the scrapes I'm getting from the branches.

Eventually I slow down, coming to a stop in a small clearing. I sit down on the grass, my thoughts screaming at me.

This is Dream's fault.

No it's yours.

No I did nothing wrong. I never do.

Eventually my thoughts settle. Well, all but one.

This is her fault.

Everything is wrong now because of her.

Everything would be normal if she was just gone.

We need normal. No one else can see it, but without our normal, we're

breaking,

cracking

at the seams.

Normal seems so far away now, but not quite out of reach. There is an option.

I get up, set on what I was about to do.
I check to make sure I have my pickaxe and drink an invisibility potion. I feel my body tingle as it fades from sight and with that, I set off in the direction of my target.
