Surgery

Tuck's Point of View:
"Kayla! She's coding!" Tucks yells. The doctors come running through the doors.

"What happened?!" Richard asks.

As I back up I say,"I have no clue! We were talking one second and then she was coding!" Tuck says.

"Get the family out." Teddy yells. "Now!" Everyone leaves the room. They go to the waiting room and wait. The doctors rush Kayla to surgery. I have no clue what's happening but all I know is that she's not doing well at all. My mo and Ben rush into the E.R.

"Tuck!" My mom yells. "How are you? Are you okay? Are you hurt? How's Kayla?"

"Mom, slow down. Kayla's in surgery. She coded so they rushed her to it." I say.

"Oh my god. How did this happen?" Ben asks.

Derek stands up and says,"A drunk driver hit them off the bridge and onto the side of the river. Kayla isn't doing very well but Tuck got x-rays and a head ct and he's okay. Everything should be okay."

During the Surgery (In the OR):
"This is Meredith and Derek's kid, you know? Like, you've known her since she was born and I've known her since she was four. She's our family." Teddy says.

"I know. I changed her diapers. I also changed Meredith's diapers and I taught Derek. We're all connected somehow. I don't want her to die." Richard says.

"Them let's not let her." Teddy says.

After the Surgery (Kayla's Point of View):
I slowly start waking up. Jo is standing next to my bed. She's one of my favorite doctors here. I also love Amelia but she's my aunt so I already love her."Hey Kayla. How are you feeling?" She asks.

"Not so good." I say weakly.

"Well, maybe you can rest a little and feel better later. Your parents and siblings are in the cafeteria getting food. I heard you went on a date with Tuck! You've had a crush on him for forever. You go!" She says as she high fives me.

"Well, that's how I ended up here." I say as I laugh.

"Okay, well get some rest. I'll come back later okay? She says

"Okay, Jo." I say. I fall asleep shortly after that.

Tuck's Point of View:
I walk into Kayla's room but her parents and siblings are still there so I go sit in the chair outside. She's asleep. I feel so bad. I really didn't want this to happen tonight. I guess that it's not really my fault but still. Her family leaves her room and tells me that I can go in."Hey K. I hope you're feeling better. I'm so sorry that this is happening to you." I say. I'm so tired so I lay my head down on her bed and hold her hand while I fall asleep.

Well, at least this chapter had a happy ending. I'll post more parts soon but this is it for tonight.❤️
