Relief

It's been three days since my surgeries. Everything seems to be fine. The doctors say I should be going home in a couple of days. I'm so glad. I actually get to lay in my bed soon. I wish my leg wasn't broken though. My bedroom is upstairs. So, that'll be hard. I think I'll just sleep on the couch because that's easier. Tuck comes in with the food for me. I've slept most of the day so I'm starving. My sleep schedule is so messed up because of school. "I'm back!" He says.

"Hey. did you get me my Mac and Cheese?" I ask while I laugh.

"Yep. You need anything else?" He asks.

"Nope. But, can we watch more of Gilmore Girls, please?" I ask. We've watched so much of it these past couple of days. I think he's getting sick of it.

"Fine, but we have to watch The Maze Runner after that, okay?" Tucks says.

"Okay!" I say sounding very excited. We start watching the movie and then the doctors come in. "Aw, come on! We just started watching the show!"

"Sorry, Kayla it's rounds." Jo said. "We need to check your incisions and maybe you can go home tomorrow if they look good!"

"Fine. But please make it quick." I say as I laugh.

They round on me and then they leave. Tuck and I finish an episode of Gilmore Girls and then we watch The Maze Runner. Tuck then has to go to school. My parents come into my room and spend the rest of the day with me.
