I told my parents I was going on a date. I never told them with who though because they would probably judge. Tuck is two years older than me so he can already drive. I don't think Miranda and Ben know either. I really like him though.

"I've always said I didn't want to be here while you're dating." Dad said as I was doing my makeup.

"Whatever, you know you can't keep me locked up in the house till I'm sixty years old." I was laughing as I said that but he wasn't. You could tell that he was weirded out by the whole dating thing. I am the oldest and he hasn't had to deal with this before. Zola, Bailey, and Ellis are still really young.

"Well, can I at least know who he is?" Dad asked.

"Do I have to tell you? You will judge me." I say while laughing.

"Yes! I'm you're father." He also laughs.

"Fine! It's Tuck." He laughs. "I knew you would judge!" I ramble on talking about it.

"I'm not judging! It's just funny because you guys are surgeon's kids. More specifically Grey-Sloan Memorial surgeon's kids. Everyone dated at the hospital. It was a big thing." He says. I laugh.

Date Time:

I finish getting ready. I'm wearing this black dress that I've loved since I got it. I put on my black heels too. I grab my bag and I go downstairs and wait for Tuck.

"Well you look pretty." My mom says.

"Thanks. I'm scared but like very excited too." I say as I sit down on the couch.

"I always thought that we would get boyfriends and girlfriends before you." Zola says pointing to our siblings.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" I ask laughing.

We hear a knock on the door and I answer it. It's Tuck. He has flowers for me.

"Hi Kayla!" He says as he hands me the flowers. I take them and say bye to my parents before I get in his car.

"Get her home by 10:00!" Zola says. We all laugh as I shut the door.

"So, how are you?" He asks.

"I'm good, I watched five episodes of Gilmore Girls so that made me feel less nervous." I say.

"You are something else." He says laughing as he opens the car door for me. We get in car and he starts driving.

"Where are we going?" I ask.

"Red Robin. Remember we went there a couple of months ago with our parents?" He asks.

"Yeah! That was so much fun." I say laughing. We just keep driving while talking and we drive down the road where all of the really Christmas lights are. A car runs and red light and suddenly...
