Chapter 31

(Squip's P.O.V)

I watched as (Y/N) walked into school, early as always. So no one was really there. I could spend more time with her! Amazing!

(Y/N) sat down and started drinking her Coca-Cola from Mc. Donalds.

She didn't know how to publicly come out and say that she was dating someone, so she just put in her description that she was 'taken'. Her phone was blowing up with DMs about who it was from the people who she hadn't already personally told. The people she personally told were Emily, (F/N), Irene, Jeremy, Michael, Kennedy, and Steve. She just put it in the group chat.

They all knew immediately that it was me.

Jeremy and Michael were stand-offish for a second but then were fine. They knew me for who I really was, not from Jeremy's past experience. I'm glad that he didn't let that shift his perspective of me.

Jeremy told Chloe, Brooke, Jake, and Rich about it who was ecstatic and the only other people who knew what I was.

(Y/N) didn't tell any other of her friends what I was yet.

I hope (Y/N) doesn't think about this as she's dating her brain, because she's not. She's dating me. Not her brain.

Where am I going?

I'm just so happy and energetic now that we're together.

(Y/N) looked up as Irene came through the door.

Her friends scared me a little. Only a little. All of her friends would jump me and kill me if I did anything wrong with (Y/N). And if I broke up with her- Yikes.

But I believe that Irene would barely be able to hurt me even if I was human.

"Oh. M. G!" Irene sat down, smiling. "I can't believe you have a boyfriend,"

(Y/N)'s face turned red. "Don't talk so loud,"

There's no need to be embarrassed.

(Y/N) sighed. You're right. She took a deep breath. It was bound to happen sooner or later.

OH! I knew she liked me! I'm just still so happy!

"I can't believe it," Irene squeaked. "He's so nice, I'm so happy for you!"

"Thanks, Irene," (Y/N) stammered.

(F/N) ran in, practically sprinting toward (Y/N).

"Holy shit!" (F/N) squeaked, peaking on screeching. "I can't believe you have a boyfriend! I'm so proud of you!"

(F/N) pulled (Y/N) into a tight hug.

(Y/N) just patted her back.

"And, the best thing is that he's hot," (F/N) giggled.

"I swear to god-"

"Well, he is nice, you can't forget that," Irene butted in.

"I'm worried about Emily..." (F/N) sighed. "She's gonna be so jealous. And I don't mean to be hitting on your man, but since he's hot she's gonna be like- triple jealous of you! All her popularity revolved around her relationship but now that you two are a thing-"

"Don't mention it, I'm so worried about all the attention," (Y/N) squirmed uncomfortably.

"It's okay," (F/N) patted her head. "We're here for you,"

(Y/N)'s head turned toward the door as it opened. Lily.

I glared at Lily even though she couldn't see me.
