I looked over at Eric as he sat against my bed, his face still red from crying. I hated knowing that happened to him. At least I know that I can help. But, on the bright side, I'm dating him now, it's just amazing, euphoria, heaven. I don't know what to do, but I'll figure it out.

Just to clear something up, I was taken away because my mental state was slipping. Eric took a breath in, already getting upset. They didn't want anything happening.

"If you're unsure, I'll always try to help," I say. "I will be here for you,"

He then looked at me and smiled.

How could I end up with someone as good as you?

"And if you're really here to stay, I can do my best to play my part, and give you the start you need to get better,"

I wonder where he's gone. I quickly parked the car, slamming the car door, and started running up to my room, tears pricking my eyes.

I wonder what he's doing right now. I quickly ran into my room, in tears. I quickly went to the mini-fridge, my knees burning from rug-burn. My hands trembled as I shuffled through the drinks, finally getting to Mountain Dew.

My hands trembled as I quickly opened the can, almost dropping the can, then drinking the Mountain Dew. This HAS to work. I don't know what I'll do if it doesn't work.

Suddenly.

Would you like to reactivate your SQUIP? A female robotic voice asked.

"Uhm," I'm trembling so much, I can't talk without crying. "Yes,"

Shit. Would he come back different? Would he blame me? I held onto my sides and sat down on a chair, waiting to hear back.

Reactivating SQUIP.

My eyes immediately lit up, tears still falling.

I waited for the pain, but it didn't come back. Did it-why?

Suddenly, a tall, blue hologram lookin' thing with swoopy dark, dark brown, almost black hair, a black long coat, and then a fancy suit. It... it was...

"Holy fuck," I murmured.

Eric was also in tears, quickly turning human.

I hugged him tight, finally starting to cry, him wrapping his arms tightly around me, sobbing as well.

"Eric," I cried. "I-I actually thought I'd never see you,"

"Yeah. M...Me too," He sniffled. "No stuttering, that's unattractive,"

I laughed through my tears.

"Oh god," I stammered. "I didn't mean to, I didn't know,"

"I know. I just saw your new memories. I know what happened," He trembled, stroking my hair.

"Who did it?" I asked, sniffing, feeling the too familiar edge of his coat. His tie with circuit patterns. His white button-up shirt. I did that hic that you do when you have to breathe when you cry, but you breathe too much.
