One of the things I detest most in life is being implicated, either for what I did or what I didn't do. I was quite aware that this time, I was implicated for what I obviously did. Literally, I wasn't supposed to be annoyed right? Well, I was. Why? This would make the second time in the school that I'd be reported for a thing like this.

The first time was when Esther and I were dating and I was told she was in the sick bay. I had gone to see her there, and one way or the other, our former registrar; Aunt Tonia reported to the school that we were making out in the Sick bay. That alone, was why I wasn't made a Prefect. Everybody knew I was supposed to be the senior Prefect boy and Fiyin, the ASP. But because of what happened, Fiyin was given the post of SP boy and the post of ASP was scraped so I wouldn't be made a Prefect. That was the punishment for a crime I didn't even commit.

Now this? They have evidence that I committed the offence and I was sure I was going to be dealt with, with Demilade, but the punishment we'd be given is what I don't know yet. I sighed as I sighted Principal and Proprietor walking towards Demilade and I. When they got to where we stood, in front of the admin block, they stopped walking and we greeted them.

"Good afternoon, sir." Both of us said.

"Good afternoon." Proprietor replied coldly. He then turned to Principal. "I'll join you later, sir."

"Alright, sir." Principal replied and walked to his office, leaving Proprietor behind with us.

"Teniola." Proprietor called Demilade's surname.

"Sir." She replied, her head bowed.

"What do you have to say about what is going on?"

"I'm sorry, sir. I really do not know about the paper. It was thrown at–"

Principal cut in. "About the paper accusation, everybody testified that you have nothing to do with that. Moreover, your Maths teacher said you weren't even of those that were given answers in the hall. So, you have no offence in that area."

"Thank you sir."

"But what about the video we were shown about you and Adekunle?" He asked her.

"Sir. . ." Her voice trailed off.

"Yes, I'm listening?"

"It was my fault, I'm very sorry sir." I replied, instead of her and Proprietor turned to face me.

"Adekunle."

"Sir. I'm sorry sir."

"Do you remember quite well that your name was submitted by most of the teachers as the senior boy to be, then?"

I expected him to bring the matter up so I wasn't in one bit surprised.

"Yes sir." I replied.

"Good. Do you remember you were denied a post in this school because of the affair Tonia claimed you were having with one of those girls in your class?"

"Yes sir."

"Were you supposed to be caught in an act like that again?"

"I'm sorry sir."
