S.S.S. 3 AGAIN

Chapter Eleven

I'm really sorry for the late update. I had exams and I still do. I was one of those who opened floor for JAMB. Then, my WAEC first paper starts next Wednesday. Choke back my tears😪 And, before you start reading, VOTE please.

The exams went by quickly and right now, we're having our holidays. All students were given three weeks holiday and are to resume on the 7th January, but S.S.S. 3 students? Despite the fact that we weren't given an holiday, we were told to resume back to school on January 2. Weird right?

Oh well, I didn't attend the lessons by the way and I'm also resuming with the other students on January 7. Anybody that wants to kill me should do that when I resume on the 7th.

My results were perfectly fine, though I wasn't a bit scared to see my scores, since we've seen the scores before it got recorded into our report cards. Thomas still beat me to many subjects. That guy is a little genius!

For Maths, he was the first and I was the second and just the two of us in the whole SSS3 had an A. Others had C. Yeah! We were that good!

For English, Lydia and I took first with an A. For Physics, Thomas took first and I, second. For Chemistry, Thomas took first and I, second. For Chemistry Practical, we were both first position. For Biology, He also took first and Jetemi was the second. Me? I was the 4th or something.

As for Demmie and I, we stopped talking ever since that day. It hurts but I know it'll be okay. He didn't spare me glances anymore and he's so engrossed in Lydia now, I guess. Lydia told us he said he wanted to take her out on the Christmas carol day. Jetemi and I simply told her to be careful. Though, I don't know why anyway, but they didn't go.

Now, lessons? I'm not attending and we still don't have light, so, obviously, the holiday is going to be a boring one. Oh! Christmas made it a bit fun though, but it wasn't so fun like going to school with my mates.

And did I also gist you? My eldest brother, Oriire, who studies at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) came home for the holidays. So, it got more interesting than I expected. So, the house included Mum, Dad, Bro Oriire, Bro Timi and Me. Bro Timi hasn't resumed yet because all universities under ASUU are on strike and his university is under ASUU.

About Demmie and I, I messaged him last week to wish him a happy birthday. He had his birthday on the last day of the year, December 31st. A weird child right? Some days before his birthday, he messaged me on Facebook. You're also surprised? I was surprised also.

He had asked me how I was and he told me he missed me. I missed him too but I didn't tell him anyway, since he was the one who refused to talk to me. Maybe I also refused to talk to him because he asked my favourite friend out and I was a bit jealous.

Later on, he asked me why Lydia and I fought. The question actually took me aback because we didn't fight and I told him Lydia and I can never fight. He said he heard we fought cause of something and I told him we didn't. He reluctantly accepted that day.

Right now, I'm so bored. Whatsapp is a bit dry tonight, so I checked if Demmie was online and he was. I decided to ask him about the fight he said he heard about Lydia and I.

Me: I want to ask you something ni.. Nd if you lie or you don't answer😏

Demmie: Ask now

Me: The person that told you Lydia and I fought... Come and tell me what the person said happened😏
