Not Born for This World

Chapter 12

I called Shiky after we had parked and she informed us she was only a few minutes away.

We decided to wait for her inside a small café that we knew sold the best Samosas and Kebabs.

We ordered for refreshments just as we spotted her black Audi pull up outside the cafe.

Shiky walked in leisurely strolling our way.

She clad in a short black playsuit with black heels and huge designer shades complementing her outfit. She looked quite chique.

"Hey Loo. Hey TT." She spoke causality pulling out a seat to sit between me and Tory.

"Aah not you too" I told her letting out a dramatic sigh.

"TT?..."Tori said in sequence with me,looking at Shiky with a hint of confusion.

" Yup...Tori the Tool" Shiky stated putting emphasis  on the 'p'  in yup.

Tori shot her a subtle glare as Shiky's mouth slowly stretching out into a grin.

He let out a scoff as his twin sister  stuck her tongue out at him.

Tori's eyes wondered behind her and suddenly lit up like a child's, when he spotting a bowl of cashew nuts on the counter behind her.

He reached over to the counter grabbing a handful before the waiter even noticed and snuck into his mouth.

Shiky and I shook our heads in disappointment as we watching Tori the Tool with his mouth muffled and full of cashew nuts.

He reached for more nuts with a mischievous glint in his eyes only  for his hand to get  slapped away by a server.

He raised his hands up in surrender looking at the cute waiter as the corner of his mouth raised into a smirk. The waiter then smiled seductively at him

She whispered something to the waiter next to her, then came over to our table  spotting a deep blush on her face and  asked us for our order in an overly chirpy voice.

We orders kebabs and Samosas to eat on the go accompanied with beetroot juice.

She  walked away with out order swinging her hip rather drastically. Shiky and I looked at Tori the Tool narrowed eyes and jaws wide open.

Tori shrugged his shoulders at us,staring  at his stool with fake innocence.

Tori then paid for our lunch, and generously  tipping the waiter winking at her as we walked out.

We parted ways outside the cafe as Tori went to meet with the brewery distributors and Shiky and I headed for the parlour.

"So are you excited for your party tomorrow?" Shiky asked watching me with a startling  intensity as she started the car

"Yup" I lied, buckling on my safety belt

She drawled out seeming unconvinced.

It was my first time attending a party and I was starting to regret ever allowing Shiky and Tori to talk me into it but it was now too late to back out.

" It'll be fine,we just need to pregame before the party as we planned.
It will calm your nervous and guaranteed you a fun night ." She said excitedly glancing over at me, then back at the road.

"I can't believe I'm finally of legal drinking age."I said to her.
I was excited and at the same time nervous but I was set on having a good time at that time...forget you sorrows a night and live a little...as Shiky and Red had kept telling me in the WhatsApp group chat, all week.
