With Sukima, Sayuri, Jugo, Suigetsu, Karin
They were walking to the place where the plan was to be started when Suigetsu asks "Hey Sukima, you know there are other things you can do on this team apart from fighting so why'd you choose to fight?"
"Fighting's the only thing I've really ever been good at" says Sukima as he thinks back;
"'Sukima as a little 7 year old kid is walking through the street and a random stranger grabs him, drags him into an alleyway and says "Give me your money or I'll kill you".
"Please don't do this" says Sukima.
"Give it to me now" demands the man but suddenly a woman jumps down from the roof tops.
The woman who had jumped down makes some hand signs and shouts "Earth Style : Earth Dragon Dragon" and a huge dragon made of earth hits the man leaving nothing but a blood splatter to which young Sukima sees and screams in shock and terror and looks away covering his eyes but then the woman grabs his hand and forces him to look and says "Look at it son, we are Shinobi, this is our life".
"I don't want to be a Shinobi" shouts Sukima.
"You are a Maruichi, Maruichi are Shinobi, especially you, you excel at all Jutsu, you can learn a Jutsu after seeing it just once which is excellent even in our clan and are excellent at Taijutsu which is unheard of in our clan, a prodigy of our clan" says the man.
"But Oka-Sama, I've always wanted to ... " starts Sukima but before he can he's slapped in the face.
"Son you are a Maruichi, and Maruichi is a shinobi" repeats his mother.
"But you didn't have to kill that man" shouts Sukima to which his mother slaps him again.
"He was going to kill you, in this Shinobi world it's kill or be killed" says his mother.
"I know what that man has gone through, he needed money for his family, this was his only option" says Sukima sadly.
"Again, this Shinobi world is cruel" says his mother.
"Why?" asks Sukima.
"Division between countries and our clan revels in it so stop acting like you don't enjoy your missions" says his mother.
'I do enjoy it, but I wish I didn't' thinks Sukima and then shouts "What kind of mission is this".
"One you almost failed because of your naivetes" says his mother.
"When did you become so cold Oka-San? What happened to your warmth, I can remember when you would hug me when I was sad" asks Sukima as he tries to hug her.
She slaps away his hands away and answers "The day your worthless father decided to die on me and leave me with you."
"I understand, I'm sorry for my rudeness Oka-Sama" says Sukima as his mother signals for him to follow and he does so obediently thinking 'Another mission'.
3 Years Later
"Son, the clan is yours but we've grown restless, we wish to enjoy destroying a nation or two" says his mother.
"Yeah we have you Sukima-Sama and your mother Mijimena-Sama" says a random member of the Maruichi clan.
'They've become to power hungry and my speech to my father seems to have just goaded them on, I need to stop this before people all over the Shinobi world start dying' and he asks "When do we start Oka-Sama?"
