Naruto is getting presents from girls everywhere when Sayuri enters to see how many presents he has and bacs out into the shadows as she thinks 'Naruto has gotten pretty popular' as she sees his smile and gets kind of annoyed that he's enjoying it and as she backs off she bumps into Kurenai who pulls her into a hug and says with some tears "Welcome back Sayuri, don't you want to see Naruto about now?"
"Not while he's acting all smug like that," says Sayuri.
"Hey people are just showing him affection for saving the whole world," says Kurenai as she smiles.
"Really people? All I see are girls" says Sayuri.
"Well you know how young girls get around heroes," says Kurenai.
"I literally don't," says Sayuri.
"Hey don't be like that, I bet boys would be all over you, I'm sure that would annoy Naruto but you'd be loving it so you're both in the same situation," says Kurenai.
"No I wouldn't fanboys are really annoying," says Sayuri as she walks forward when a boy sees her and he looks like he shit his pants as starts walking away slowly as Sayuri gets 😅 and then it turns into a 💢.
"That's just cause you came out of the shadows like that" assures Kurenai.
"I told you I don't care about that!💢" lies Sayuri.
"Why did you come back? Is your journey finished?" asks Kurenai.
"No, I just wanted to see Mr Smug," says Sayuri.
"What's really bothering you?" asks Kurenai.
"He keeps writing to me and telling me to come back and I feel like I want to," says Sayuri.
"Why is that bothering you?" asks Kurenai.
"Because I want to marry him!" shouts Sayuri blushing.
"Why don't you tell him you want to get married?" asks Kurenai.
"Because I can't forgive myself for everything I've done," says Sayuri.
"Don't stop yourself like that, you'll only end up regretting it later?" says Kurenai as she thinks of Asuma.
"I need him to decide this or I'll feel like I don't deserve it," says Sayuri.
"Don't hold yourself back, try doing wifely things for him?" says Kurenai.
"Wifely things?" asks Sayuri completely unfamiliar with the subject as she then says "No, I can't manipulate him like that!"
"Try knitting a scarf," says Kurenai.
"I said no Auntie Kurenai!" shots Sayuri.
"It's not manipulation, it's a show of love," says Kurenai as Sayuri says goodbye, heads home as remembers when her mother knit a jacket for her father and how he never took it off after that even to the point that it annoyed her mother that he wouldn't wash it.
"A Scarf? What do I know about knitting a scarf anyway?" Sayuri asks herself as she flashbacks;
"'To Hinata being bullied scene but this time it's Sayuri who is being bullied as Naruto tries to step in, get's his ass kicked and Sayuri kicks their asses looks at Naruto and thinks 'I was fine, why'd he get involved' as she waits for him to wake and says "Your scarf's ruined" handing him it to him.
