With Sakura and Touma
Touma suddenly appears from the bushes and shouts "Sakura-Sensei!"
"Mataku, why did you come back, Baka?" asks Sakura as another rod flies at her.
"A brat? No matter, it's too late" says Pain.
"No, Sakura-Sensei!" shouts Touma.
Suddenly a Senbon pierces the rod and sticks it to a tree and and Neji asks "What do you think you're doing to one of my comrades?"
"Another Hyuga?" asks Pain in annoyance.
He then tries to release two rods at once but two kunai deflect them both and Tenten says "The Man asked you a question".
"Another pest" says Pain.
"Sakura, you heal yourself and recover, we'll hold him off" says Tenten as she pulls the rods out of Sakura.
"Tenten, you stay back and give me support" says Neji thinking 'Tenten's not a close range fighter, I don't want her getting hurt'.
"Got it" says Tenten.
"Now answer me" says Neji.
"I made a deal with a woman who wanted you dead Sakura Haruno, black hair, red eyes, sword hanging at the side" says Pain.
"Sayuri, huh" says Sakura as she bites her thumb, makes some hand signs and slams her hand into the ground shouting "Summoning Jutsu!" as a few Hares appear and start healing her and Sakura says "If you need to, you can swap out with me, they'll heal you and help you recover your Chakra, it's best if we chip away at his strength and drag this battle out, it'll give my Genin the chance to get away".
"Thank you" says Neji.
"Be careful, he has ..." starts Sakura.
"The Rinnegan, I can see it, Tenten, let's do this" says Neji.
"Yeah" says Tenten
Neji and Tenten Vs Pain
Neji rushes at Pain slashing with a Senbon but Pain dodges and says "Quite slow" as a rod emerges from his hand and he tries to stab Neji who is completely open but a Kunai comes flying at Pain who dodges having to cancel his attack.
"Don't be reckless Neji!" shouts Tenten.
"Damn it" curses Neji as Pain appears in front of him and kicks him in the stomach making him unable to move.
"Barely worth the effort" says Pain.
"Neji!" shouts Tenten as she rushes to him.
"Don't come any closer!" shouts Neji.
"Why?" asks Tenten.
"I can't bear to see you get hurt" says Neji.
"I want to save Neji!" shouts Tenten as she rushes to try and help him.
"Don't" says Neji as Pain stabs at Neji and he says "I, I love you".
Tenten's eyes widen and she shouts "Neji!" and Pain stabs at him only for Sakura to grab Pain's hand stopping him.
"What now?" asks Pain as Sakura thinks 'Damn it, Neji is down, I had no choice since Touma's paralyzed with fear' as Pain says "Very interesting".
"Thank you!" shouts Tenten falling to her knees and crying her eyes out as Neji lies there turning his head as he's a little shocked and thinks 'Guy-Sensei, you never change' as it's revealed that there are a pair of leg weights on the ground.
