The Audition

After getting dressed you put on mascara and lip gloss for your makeup. You want to look good for your first impression but you don't really believe  in hiding your face in make up like some others.

You get in your car and start driving to the audition.

Common Sense by Joshua Bassett. Your favorite song currently, but if you would of been asked last week you would of said "I Think I Kinda, You Know" but it changes a lot.

You were jamming in your car to the Joshua Bassett and the HSMTMTS the soundtrack, when you blinked and realized you had made it.

You walked in and saw the one and only JOSHUA BASSETT and may I add you FREAKED out a bit.

J=Joshua Y= Y/n

J: Hey! Your Y/n, right?
Y: Um- uh- Yeah, I am!
J: Hey take a deep breath, you'r going to do great at the audition, and I'll be there to help.

(Is the one and only JOSHUA BASSETT trying to COMFORT you! AHH)

Y: thank you! I'm just really nervous, I mean I could never live up to the high school musical the musical the series cast, like you guys are legendary and my idols and I-
J: You know Y/n, I've seen some of your work. I mean the ads you've been in, the small roll in Andi Mack you had and you did was really damn good!
Y: You saw that?
J: Don't worry, you were cute.
Y: Im still slightly pissed bec-
J: Oh I know. I saw your tiktok. You mean how you were on the show but never got to meet Sofia?
Y: Yea, that.

You guys talk a little bit and Josh's laugh makes you so happy. It really was like a dream.

Director: Ok we're ready for Y/n back here!

You do your audition and feel like you did kind of good. That was a huge relief.

Director: Ok so Y/n, I hate to make you sad but there's no need for you to go any farther in the audition process.
Y/n: Wait, Did I do that bad?
Director: No! I'm just kidding! We don't need you to go any farther because we already want you on the show!
Y/n: Wait! WHAT! OH MY GOD! Thank you sooooo much!
Director: And we want you to come back to meet the rest of the cast and crew tomorrow, if that's alright.

Joshua was sitting with the directors and he ran up to you and gave you a huge hug when he noticed you starting to cry tears of joy.
