Stranded

Chapter 9

Mum's POV
I'm standing in front of the hotel she was supposed to be staying at. When I walk in the first people I see are Paisley and Chase cuddled on the couch. "Paisley." She looks up at me and immediately comes towards me. "Aunt Libby."

She hugs me tight and I hug her back. "Hey sweetie." A teacher comes up to me. "Ms Michaels, Mr and Mrs Jones are already with us if you want to come with me." I wave goodbye to Paisley and Chase and follow the teacher.

He leads me to a room in which I find a very serious man who's sitting next to a more nicer looking woman. I look at the man closely. I know him it can't be. "Callum?" He looks up at me. "Oh if it isn't Liberty." His wife looks at him. "Cal how do you know this woman?"

"This is Sam Michaels little sister." "Still best friends with my brother I see." "Yeah we're still close." The teacher in the room clears her throat. "Ok now that you're done catching up can we talk about the children?" I look at the teacher. "How could you let this happen?"

"We didn't know they were at the party!" "You didn't do checks. You heard there was a party and you told the kids they weren't allowed to go and you didn't think to check to see if they were all in their rooms. It's clear to see you don't understand teenagers."

She looks at me judgementally.  "You must understand teenagers because you had your children when you were one." I glare at her. "What age I had Kiara and Kieran has nothing to do with anything. So I had them at 15 it still doesn't take the light away from your horrible chaperone skills!!!!"

She glares at me. "I'm sorry not everyone thinks their kids are gonna go against their wishes. But I guess your kids have horrible examples at home." I look at that woman in absolute shock. "Are you calling me a horrible mother?" 

"Yeah and you seeped your poison into Paisley, Maggie and Chase because their parents had their kids at normal ages so their bad behaviour they learnt from you. Then they probably leeked that bad behaviour into every other kid that snuck off to the party including Dallas."

I stand up and walk out the room. I bump into someone. I look up and see Kieran. "Mum?" I immediately hug him and he hugs me back. Maggie appears behind him and I free one arm and she immediately hugs me.

"We're gonna find her ok? As well as Dallas. They're obviously together and we're gonna find them." "Yeah we are." I look behind me and see Callum and his wife. "I'm Marissa by the way." "Liberty." "You're Sam's sister?" I nod. "Yeah." She smiles. "I can see it." I chuckle.

"This is my son Kieran and his girlfriend Maggie by the way. Guys these are Dallas' parents." They shake hands and go to find Paisley and Chase.

"Well I'm going to go around on a helicopter if you wanna come Libby. We're gonna fly around see if we're lucky enough and they're still on the lifeboat."
"Of course." We all go together to the helicopter with hope in our hearts that we'll find our kids.
