Callum's POV
It's getting harder to stay motivated these days. I don't want Dallas to end up like Alyssa. I sit down on my bed and I can feel my tears welling up in my eyes. Marissa went back home because she said she someone had to be there doing their job.

I feel myself just let go for the first time. My sobbing echoes through the room and I don't even hear the door open as Libby walks in. I only notice her when she sits beside me and rubs my back. "We're going to find them don't worry."

"Why does this happen to my kids?!" She looks at me confused. "What?" "Last year my little Alyssa went missing and they found her dead three months later. Haven't we gone through enough loss without having to loose the only child we have left."

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know you went through that." "They found the man who took her and murdered her and he's rotting in jail for the rest of his life but I feel pain when I just think of Dallas ending up with the same fate as Alyssa."

"Neither of our kids are going to die ok? We're going to find them alive even if the stupid police have called off the search. We'll find them ourselves." I look at her and I nod. "You should go home Libby. Kieran needs his mum."

"Why would you even say that?" "You have a kid waiting for you needing his mum. You've got to go home" " What about you?" "I won't go just yet. I need to think of every outcome and Rissa will come back as soon as she can. The only child I have left behind is the one I'm looking for."

"You know I think I might actually do that." "What go home?" She nods.  "Yeah I think I've stayed here long enough, it's a wonder I haven't been fired. Kieran needs me and I need him generally."

She stands up not before kissing my cheek. "Thank you Cal. I hope you find our children." She goes and takes out her phone as she walks away into her room.
