Chapter 11

Paisley's POV
I miss her. Our friend group isn't the same anymore. Maggie is barely in our room anymore because she's always with Kieran. Chase doesn't really talk anymore. Just sits quietly missing both of them.

He's talked to his uncle and aunt a few times as well. It's been a whole weekend. They've been missing a whole 3 days. We're only staying till Friday so five days left including today which is Monday. I go to the cafeteria and I find Aunt Libby eating with Dallas's parents Rissa and Cal.

I've met them when I've gone to family things with Chase. "Good morning. Morning Paisley did you sleep well?" "I guess so." I get food and Maggie, Kieran and Chase walk in. Kieran immediately goes to his mum and hugs her and she hugs him back.

I wait for Maggie and Chase as they get theirs. Maggie gets Kieran food too and hands it to him and sits next to him. Chase sits next to Rissa and I sit next to him. We eat silently as we ignore the fact that if they were here the three grown ups wouldn't be here and we'd probably be teasing them because of how flirty Dallas was with Kie making her scared.

Kieran doesn't even touch his food. Maggie looks at him worried but doesn't say anything. Chase eats silently and doesn't even look up from his plate. We're not even talking to each other. I feel like at this time is when we should be there for each other the most.

After breakfast I drag everyone with me to sit in Maggie and I's room. "We need to talk to each other." They all look at me blankly. "We need to lean on each other or else we have no one else to lean on. Maggie you're one of my best friends, Kieran you're also one of my best friends and Chase you're my boyfriend. You guys are the people that I'm closest to and I'd like to think that you guys think the same. If we can't talk to each other what are we gonna do."

"I miss her." We all look at Kieran. "I miss her so much. She isn't just my sister, she's my best friend. We're the opposite same person. We're the same person while being completely different." "I miss my opposite half." We look at Maggie. "She and I aren't even the same but it doesn't make me love her less because she's one of my favourite people in the whole entire world."

I watch as they both cry. "I miss my brother and my annoying twin sister without being my twin. Dallas is like a brother to me and he's one of my best friends and Kie is just my twin. We're twins without actually being twins. I love them both so much."

"And I miss my best friend. She's basically my child at this point with all the taking care of her I do. We all miss them so how about we miss them together instead of pushing away each other."

Kieran starts crying and I hug him and Chase hugs me while Maggie hugs Chase.We stay in our sort of group hug til teachers come knocking at our door telling us to go for activities.
