It's the day of my homecoming party and my mum is giving a speech about how brave I must have been to survive on that island. I look around for the tenth time for the person who helped me survive and he's still not her but he might just be late.
His parents are here but he's not. I go to them after the toast. "Hi, I just wanted to ask where Dallas was?" "Did he not tell you? He got invited to a party by Briana Dupen and he opted to go that one." I nod and hope my face doesn't look as hurt as I feel.
I go back to all my friends. "Where's your boyfriend? First of all he's not my boyfriend and second of all he opted to go to a party with Briana Dupen." "Aww our poor baby. It's ok you still have us."
They both put their arms around me and I chuckle. I really wish he was here though. I can't believe he chose Briana Dupen over me though. That hurts. I sit there and generally sort of enjoying myself.
