Chapter 28

"Gosh, what day is it ba?" I instantly panic when I realize what he said.

I grab my phone to check the day on my calendar, his right ngayon nga ang uwi ni Mom. Shocks, I wasn't ready for this. "I forgot for god sake," I hissed and rest in my seat.

I saw Kace glance at me while focused on driving and held my hand tighter. I smile at him and just close my eyes as we head our way to our house. "Will you stay for the night?" I ask when we enter the subdivision. "I don't think so, I still have papers to check on my pad, maybe I'll go home after dinner," he seriously said.

I sigh and just sit silently in my seat, I want to stay with him later. "We're here," he whisper, I squeezed his hands for a bit before I first got out of the car and walked straight inside the house.

"Where's my Son?" The first thing I heard as I entered the house. Mom's really here and the usual she's looking for Kuya. I exhale for a bit before I walk straight to the kitchen where I heard her voice. "Mom!" masigla kong sambit at nilapitan siya.

I kissed her on her cheeks and was about to give her a hug but---- "There you are my son!!!" she said and ran to my brother who just entered the kitchen with Kace behind him. "Mom?" Kuya uttered and looked at me like he wasn't expecting that our mother's here.

"Oh my, Son I missed you so much, I brought you a new watch. It's already in your room, are you going to stay here for the night?" Masiyang pagtatanong ni Mom kay kuya habang naglalakad sila papasok dito sa kusina. Kuya went to the fridge to drink some water and answered Mom, "I already have enough watches Mom" he hazed and kept drinking.

"I know, but I still want you to buy me one, so are you going to stay?" She asks, I just sat on the breakfast table here in our kitchen while watching them talk.

"No I won't"tamad na sagot ni Kuya kay Mom. "Mom I'll stay here po," I said and smile at her. "I didn't ask Chantel, can you please change your clothes?" she said irritatedly.

I shook my head and nodded, "Ok, hehe," I awkwardly said and started walking out of the kitchen. Kace touched my hands as I walked past through him just to comfort me for a simple gesture, I glanced at him and smiled before I went up to my room and changed.

As I stepped inside my room I expected something inside but I got nothing, "Walang pasalubong?" I joke and walk inside the closet. I change into a simple white dress and just fix my hair a little bit, I also remove my makeup before I go down.

The dinner is already served and Kuya and Kace are already seated at the dining table while Mom is talking to someone on her phone. "Where's Dad-----," I was cut off when Dad showed up beside me.

"Present Miss," he joked and pushed me lightly to the dining area and sat beside Mom's chair. "Ok, Let's eat," Mom said as she sat beside me and put down her phone.

Katapat ni Kuya si Mom at ako naman ay katapat si Kace na tahimik lang kumakain sa tabi ni Kuya, they somehow talk if Dad ask something about work. "How about the Colado's collaboration is the photoshoot done already?" Mom suddenly speak and asked my brother.

"Already done, Mom," Kuya answered, stiff when Mom faced me, "Did you wear the lingerie?" she asked. "N-No Mom," I utter. Her brows automatically frowned when I answered, "And why is that?" she asked.

Everybody becomes silent and just waits for Mom and I's conversation. "I-it's too revealing Mom, so I ask them to change the theme to Elegant Paris themed because I think it's much better and teen frie------," I was cut off when "My god Chantel!!!!! You're embarrassing!!! You just ask Coleen Colado to change her theme which I clearly approved!!! This is so embarrassing god's sake!!!!" Mom hissed and glared at me.

Nagulat ako sa reaksyon ni Mom, she knows about it? "I approve that theme because I know you will do it, nakakahiya na binago mo iyon kahit inaprubahan kona, ano nalang sasabihin ni Coleen pagnagkita kami!!!! God Chantel!!!! Until now!" She disappointedly said and massage the bridge of her nose beside me.

"I'm done," Kuya shrill, stands up, leaves the dining room, and goes upstairs. Dad just shook his head.

Did I disappoint Mom again? "I'm sorry Mom" I whisper. "If you're done eating please go, I don't wanna burst out even more Chantel!" madiin at may galit na sambit ni Mom, I instantly stand up and walk out of the dining.

"Vivian calm down babe," I heard Dad say to Mom, while I'm walking up the stairs. "Your daughter has never made me proud since then, Cadrious up until now, she keeps embarrassing me to others!!!" I heard Mom haze and sigh heavily.

I couldn't handle what I'm hearing anymore so I ran into my room and calmed myself at the terrace. I don't want to cry and get swollen eyes tomorrow.

"Wanna go to my pad?" agad akong napalingon sa kabilang terrace ng biglang magsalita si Kace mula doon. When our eyes met I quickly melted and tear up, I promptly crossed our way and hugged him. Lock my arms on his waist and cry on his chest.

"It's my fault," he whispered and patted my head, calming me down. "No it's not, I'm fine," I whispered and hugged him, tiger, this was the comfort I long for almost ten years. Every time Mom gets mad at me in France I always imagine hugging him and now I'm really hugging him in this kind of situation. "I wanna stay with you tonight," I whisper and sniff his shirt.

"Yes let's do that," he gently whispers and lets go of me, "I'll wait for you outside the village," he whispers and kisses my forehead before he leaves his room.

I wipe my tears up and go back to my room, grabbing my purse and phone, "Yaya I'll be leaving for tonight I'll stay with Sienna inform them if they happen to ask my whereabouts" I said to Yaya Carmen and kiss her on her head before I leave. "Mag ingat ka anak ah," I heard her say I nodded and went out.

As I step out of the gate I received a text message from Kace,

Sumabay sakin si Cad, can you just ride a taxi? I'll wait for you at my pad.

I nodded and quickly called for a taxi and made my way to the Delavine's Condo's. I knock once and his door quickly opens and pulls me inside.

I can't help but to smile when I saw many food on the table, "Alam kong hindi ka nabusog kanina sa dinner kaya dumaan ako sa resto sa baba and grab you some, I also got this for you, comfort food I guess?" He said and raised his hand, who has a bar of chocolate.

I bite my lower lip before I smile at him and kiss him. "Thank you," I whisper to him, he smiles and says, "Love you," he whispers back and kisses me again.

"Let's eat," he said and guided me to sit on the chair. We ate the whole meal he bought and just watched some movies on his laptop here at his dining area, and when we were done eating he said that he will just wash the dishes while I'm eating my chocolate here.

While watching him wash the dishes, I can't help but stare at his body shape. How come his body is built like that but he seldomly does work out?

I walk to his place and wrap my other arms around his waist while he's busy doing the dishes, "Hi," he whispers at me, I smile and sniff on his back."Hi handsome," I whisper at him.

"Paige patapusin mo muna ako dito," he hissed at me. I chuckled and purposely touched the chocolate on his neck. "Opss," I teasingly said and lick the chocolate on his neck.

He stiffed and hurriedly wash the last plate, "Oh no, you're not doing this to me Paige," I took one step away from him and asked innocently, "I did?" I said and licked the chocolate on the side of my lips.

He moved faster and when I saw him put the last plate to where it belongs I quickly ran through his room. "Oh you're so dead, Paige," he said and wiped his neck with his hands.

"Kace!!!!"
