"Kace?" I whispered when I saw Kace outside the house.

"Oh, he's here, what's his name again?" Vernon said beside me while staring at Kace who's standing beside his car.

"I told him to fetch you up, and be with you on your date," Biglang sumulpot si Kuya sa likod ko na ikinagulat naming dalawa ni Vernon.

"What!?!" Vernon hissed irriatedly and look back at Kace. While I resume staring at my brother. "I don't trust him, so Kace will be with you," He said lowkey and walked towards his mustang and left.

"How would this supposed to be a date, if we have him?" Vernon kept on talking, so I started to walk and greet Kace.

"Morning," I gently said. Kace stood straight and fixed his sleeve, smiled at me and, "Good Morning," he said.

Hindi ko maiwasan ang kilig na aking nararamdaman dahil sa simpleng ngiti at presensya niya lang. Last night I was so not in the mood for this date but knowing that Kace will be with us. I suddenly feel excited and happy.

"Lord, please tell me this is not happening," Vernon kept hazing beside me. "But it is," Kace said and opened the door for me.

I simply touch his hand when I enter the car, touching his skin does send butterflies on my stomach. So I bit my lips as he closed the door and we waited for Vernon.

I saw him stare at me and start the engine, the way he stares at me really makes me blush. I just hope that Vernon won't notice it.

"He,y why are you blushing already Chantel don't tell me you're falling to me already," Vernon said and smirked at me.

"Ay!" I gasp when Kace suddenly drive fast, Vernon almost hit the window with his head dahil na out of balance siya sa biglaang pagbilis ng andar ng sasakyan.

"Sorry, kailangan lang bilisan para hindi maabutan ng traffic," Kace palyfully said.

"What did he say?" Vernon ask me, "He said we got to hurry," natatawa kong sambit habang pinapanuod si Vernon hinihimas ang tumama niyang balikat sa upuan.

I know it's bad to laugh at others' accidents but what Kace did to Vernon is hilarious.

"Why?" Vernon asks. "So he could avoid the traffic," sabat ni Kace at patuloy na nag-focus sa pag drive.

"We're here," Kace said when we stopped in front of a fancy restaurant. "Why are we here? Isn't this so fancy?" I said while fixing my purse.

"I choose this one because you deserve the best," Vernon sweetly said and held my hand. "Vernon tell me the truth, why are we having this kind of date? And mostly, why are you here, what about your business, they need you?" tanong ko habang pinapark ni Kace ang sasakyan niya.

"I take a break from my business to be here with you, I just realize that I have to move you to win your heart so now I'm here and I ask Tita Vivian to help me. You're fine with that right?" He sincerely said while caressing my hands.

"A-ahm, Vernon didn't we ta-----" he didn't let me finish and speak. "Please, Chantel give me a chance this time!! Please, please!!!" He begged.

"We already park!" Sabat ni Kace at agad bumaba ng sasakyan at binuksan ang pinto sa tabi ko.
