"Vernon?!!" hindi makapaniwala kong sambit nang harapin niya ako ng maayos at hindi binitawan ang aking magkabilang braso. I glance at Kace who's beside me darkly staring at Vernon's hands on my shoulder, that's why I slowly remove Vernon's hands and awkwardly smile at him.

"You're here?" I utter. Vernon smiled ear to ear and said, "Yes, I'm finally here!" he shouted and was about to hug me again but I stepped back and looked behind him where my mother was smiling.

"Vernon just went here from the airport, early this morning and waited for you, I suggest for him to stay here," Mom said and sat on the couch while drinking her coffee. "Where will he stay here Mom, rooms are all occupied," I said and walked towards her place, Vernon followed me, and Kace just remained standing there.

"In Kace room, Kace you often stay here right? Would you let Vernon stay in your room?" Mom said and looked at Kace, I quickly faced Kace and waited for his answer.

"Yes Ma'am it's fine," He said and bowed his head politely. "What? but how about Kace things" I know Kace's room was his only escape from his responsibility, doon lang siya nakakapagpahinga ng maayos it's his private place why would Mom just let Vernon stay there when Vernon can easily afford high-class suit in the hotels.

"Kace can you remove your things out of the room para magamit ni Vernon, ok lang naman sayo diba, I mean my husband already bought you a condo I suggest you'll just stay there for good na lang para sulit yong pera naginagamit sayo," I gasp with disbelief, on how my Mom speak to Kace that is so rude.

"Mom!!!" I hissed. "What?" she asked me and raised his brows at me. "What do you think of Kace?" she asks Kace. "Yes, Ma'am I'll just pack my thing up the stairs if you'll excuse me," Kace said while he bowed his head again and walked up the stairs.

I watch my man go upstairs and suddenly I feel so pissed off by the way my Mom speaks to him. "Why can't Vernon stay at the hotel? How long are you planning to stay here?" I look at Vernon who clearly did nothing but stare at me.

"As long as I want him here Chantel' imbis na si Vernon ang sumagot ay si Mom ang nagsalitakaya muli ko siyang hinarap. "R-really?" I asked Vernon and he nodded quickly and hugged me once again. "I miss you so much Chantel" Vernon said and tightened his hug, my gaze went up the stairs where I saw Kace watching.

I wanna push Vernon away but surely Mom will get mad if I did that. "We'll be together again Chantel" Vernon continued talking, I watched Kace walk out and hear the door to his room closed.

My mood suddenly fell off, "Chantel helped Kace up the stairs to pack his thing so Vernon can move in already," Mom said and crossed her arms above her chest.

"Excuse me Vernon" I immediately stand up and excuse myself to go upstairs. "Want me to help you, Chantel?" Vernon asks. "No, let them be Vernon, mapapagod ka lang 'don," Mom said, I turned my back on them and tightened my grip on the railing just to release my anger and went upstairs.

Kinabahan ako ng konti kumatok sa kwarto ni Kace kaya tumuloy ako sa kwarto ko at lumabas ng terrace, buti nalang bukas ang pinto nito at nakapasok ako agad. "Love," I whispered and looked for him inside, I found him in the closet putting his things in a bag. He continued packing up and acted like he didn't hear me, I suddenly felt sad so I went behind him and hugged him from the back.

"Why did you agree?" I asked and rested my head on his back. "What do you expect me to do, this is your Mom's house nakikitira lang ako," he calmly said.

"I don't want you to move out, I'll tell this to Dad and Kuya. I'm sure they'll disagree and let you stay," I said and made him face me, this time we were staring at each other and pakiramdam ko naiiyak ako bigla.

"No need Paige, tama ang mama mo kailangan kong gamitin ang perang ginagastos sakin ni Tita Cadrius para hindi ito mapunta sa wala," He said, "Hindi naman napupunta sa wala ang pera ni Dad when it comes to you ah, you give your besteverytime Dad invested on you. The condo was his gift for you para pag hindi ka makauwi dito mas malapit sa company yon'. Dad didn't buy that so you'll move out here. I gotta tell this to Dad," tinangka kong kunin ang phone ko ng pigilan ako ni Kace.

"It's fine, Love I don't want to trouble Tita and you Mom" he sighs and hugged me. This time I really tear up. "I don't want you to go."

"Hey my pad is just a few blocks away from the company, it's fine." He chuckled and patted my head. I faced him with a frowned expression and said, "If you're moving out of this house, then you gotta bring some of my things with you!"

"Why?" he asked. "Because I'll surely stay at your pad either, wait for me pack some of my things to" I said and run to my room, kumuha ako ng mga damit ko na isasabay ko sa mag gamit niya.

We pack his thing together in some of my clothes and I help him bring them downstairs. "Oh Chantel, let me help you," Vernon was about to get the travel bag in my hands when Kace quickly got it from me and brought it outside.

"N-no thanks, I guess," I said when Vernon looked shocked at Kace's actions.Nangpalabas na ako ng pinto ng bahay biglang nagsalita si Mom, "Where are you going Chantel?" Mom asked.

"Ahm sasabay ako kay Kace may naiwan kasi akong gamit sa office," I excuse. "No, you're not going anywhere, you need to accompany Vernon, and were going to have dinner,"

"Then I'll just say to Kace that we have dinner," I said pero sakto namang pumasok muli si Kace sa bahay para kunin ang isa pang maleta. "It's a Family dinner, and I think Kace has work to do right Kace?" I hate the way Mom emphasizes the word Family like she's saying that Kace didn't belong to our family.

"Yes Ma'am I have work to do at the office" pagsangayon ni Kace sa sinabi ni Mom at tinignan ako. "I'll see you at work tomorrow Miss Chantel," he said and left the house.

I wanna follow him but I fucking can't, I wanna get mad at Vernon's wrong timing but I fucking can't. I wanna get mad at Mom because she just humiliate Kace in front of us but I freaking fucking can't. "Magbihis lang ako sa taas," walang gana kong sambit at tinanggal ang pagkakahawak ni Vernon sa kamay ko at walang ganang umakyat.

I change my clothes and just lay on my bed the whole time until the maid calls me for dinner. Pagbaba ko ay kasabay non' ang pagpasok ni Dad sa bahay. "Great you're here, Dinner is served," Mom said to Dad. "Wow, we have family dinner," He said, I saw my brother enter the house and go straight to the dining table.

"Who the fuck are you?" Kuya asks Vernon and stands beside him. "Ahm Hi I'm Vernon, Chantel's frie-----," he was cut when Kuya spoke again. "I didn't ask, that's my seat get out," Kuya rudely said, walang nagawa si Mom at Vernon sa sinabi ni Kuya at agad lumipat ito ng upuan, "Seat here Vernon son," Mom said and pointed at the other seat.

"Isn't that Kace seat where he is?" Dad asks when he saw Vernon is about to sit in Kace place. "He's busy," Mom said and made Vernon seat in Kace's place. Nagsimula na kaming kumain at patuloy akong kinakausap ni Vernon pero wala talag ako sa mood ngayon makipagusap.

"Chantel won't be going to work tomorrow," Mom said to Kuya. "Why?" sabay naming tanong ni Kuya. "She's having a date with Vernon tomorrow," what!?
