Chapter 31

"Let's go, Paige," Sienna said as she opened the van and brought out her things with her. I didn't know that I fell asleep during the ride to Zoey's birthday venue.

They say that we'd be staying here for the whole weekend so I bought clothes with Sienna. But I feel sad about the thought that I won't be able to see Kace this weekend because he is busy at work. "Chantel let's go," I got back to my senses when Kuya called me while picking up our things at the back of the van.

"Yeah, I'm coming," I said and took off the headset on my ears and went out of the car to help him pick our things up. "Zoey said that Aberry and her friends will be here later," Sienna said while we walk inside the lobby of the resort.

"Really, that's great," I said and got our room key.

We fix our things inside the room and after that, we just kill time before they call on us for dinner. "Miss Delavine, Miss Minami, the dinner is served at the lobby" a resort service crew knocked and said.

"Susunod na kami," Sienna said and stood out of the bed and reached for her phone. "Tara na sa baba, Paige," she said, I nodded and walked with her out of her room. As we both step out of our roo kasabay din non ang paglabas nila Kuya, Kuya Kent and Gun. "Hey" Gun greeted Sienna and pulled her close to her.

I automatically roll my eyes at them and pull Sienna back, "She's mine!" I hissed at him but he just laughs at me and we walk through the lobby. Pagbukas ng pinto sa lobby naabutan naming nakaupo na sila Tito and Tita Milendez sa long table, also Aberry, Alliana and Lana are here.

We smile at them and set, "Do you feel it?" I whisper at Sienna. I feel an intense atmosphere here, I don't know why. Maybe because I see how Aberru looks at Oliver who's currently Zoey's boyfriend.

"It feels tense tho" Sienna whispers, we start eating and I keep on glancing at Aberry and Lana who look so uncomfortable in here.

Sienna and Gun talk and talk, Zoey is clinging to her Boyfriend while my brother is busy on his phone, Aberry and Lana look so off. Alliana seems busy also. Sienna's brother Kuya Kent is busy with his girl. I feel so lonely if only my Kaace were here.

After dinner, we go back to our rooms to rest because the real party starts tomorrow evening, "At last" I hazee and lay on the bed.

"Paige labas lang ako samahan ko lang si Gun saglit," Sienna said, I roll my eyes at her like a bitter one, and "Yeah go, enjoy"I tease. "Sira," she said before she left the room.

I open my phone and straightly call my man for a video call. After a few rings, he answered it and his face showed up on the camera.

"Hi love," I whispered and acted cute on him, I miss him already. "Hi gorgeous, did you eat already?" He asks while he's doing something on his Laptop, He's already at his pad I can see the headboard, and he's already wearing a white plain shirt and his specs which he usually wears at home only.

"Yeah kakatapos lang, how bout' you?" I ask and lay on the bed. Raising up my phone so he can see me. "Kakatapos ko lang din," he answers and is still busy on his laptop. I pouted, he's still busy at work it's already 9:40 pm. "So, love the party will start tomorrow at 7 pm," I said just to open up a topic. He nodded and glanced at me.

"Ok, enjoy the party tomorrow, why won't you sleep now it's getting late you should rest," He said, and I can't help to admire his features, he's so handsome.

I can't help falling. "You should tell that to yourself, Love," I said and we both chuckled. "I still need to finish this Paige you go sleep first," he said and continue typing. "Yeah I understand, I'll be wearing a swimsuit tomorrow ok," I said and covered myself with the comforter.

"What?" he asked like he didn't hear it clearly so I smirked and said, "Wala I said I'll sleep but I won't turn off the video call ok," I said and put the phone on the side table so he would still see me.

"Goodnight Love," I whisper and close my eyes. "Goodnight Paige, I love you," I heard him say before I fell asleep. Kinabukasan nagising akong nakapatay na ang phone ko and I saw Kace end up the video call at 3 am in the morning already, and after a few minutes I wake up I received a call from him.

Good morning, eat breakfast and enjoy your day, rest, and behave ok. I love you.

I smiled and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower. Naabutan kong nagbabasa si Sienna sa kama n'ya pagkatapos kong magshower. "What time did you go back last night?" I ask her while drying my hair. "Almost 11 I guess, naabutan ko pa ngang pinapanuod ka ni Kace kagabi. Good thing he didn't notice me. I can't help but smile when I feel butterflies in my stomach when she says that Kace was watching me.

My face suddenly heathen god Kace you are making me blush even if you're not here.

Sienna smiles playfully and just continues reading, I'll just take a walk around the seashore and I'll be back before lunch. "Ok, ingat," She said. Gaya ng sinabi ko naglakad-lakad lang ako sa tabing dagat at pinanood ang mga naliligo I also saw my brother so I seat beside him and we have a little talk and he seems like he was watching someone here but I don't know who until It's already lunch and we stay at our room for the whole day and just started to prepare when the party was about to start.

I just wear a maroon one-shoulder strap swimsuit and top it with black crochet above the knee. I also put a shell ankle foot chain that I bought a while ago at the seashore stoles. I really find it cute so I also buy Kace one, I'll give it to him when I go back to Manila. We all gather at the seashore bar where Zoey said and we all just sit on the high chairs, I sit beside my brother because Sienna is with Gun.

We all watch Zoey go up the stage and speak, "This night was the most special moment of my life now I'm turning 23 and I feel so old na but still look pretty right, I would not end up here without the people who supported me from the very start, Mom Dad thank you so much you give me everything I need and all the best for me you are the best... Also to my man who's standing over there, his my inspiration and my future Hi Babe I love you so much please don't leave my side," After what she said she smiles brightly with that Oliver guy. And I notice Aberry went to the bathroom after the speech.

The party started and I just stayed in my seat while Gun and Sienna were enjoying the beach. "Tss love birds!" I whisper and just look around while drinking this wine.

"Chantel, I'll just go there," My brother suddenly said and walked fast. Naiwan akong nakaupo dito habang hindi kona makita kung saan siya pumunta.

Dahil mag-isa lang ako dito naisipan kong maglakad muna sa tabing dagat ng medyo malayo na ako sa lugar na inuupuan ko kanina naisipan ko nang bumalik kaso may biglang humarang sa akin.

"Hi there, Alone I guess?" this guy in front of me said. "No," I answered and tried to walk past him but he stopped me once again. "I don't see anyone around you so I bet you're alone, wanna have company" he playfully said and licked his lips in front of me which is so gross.

"No I'm not alone," I hazed and glared at him, but I also simply looked for my brother if he was near so I could make him an excuse for this guy.

"I know you're alone you're just saying that," he said and reached for my hand but I quickly moved it away. "I have my boyfriend around so back off!!" I said and glared at him, but he just smirked and grabbed my hands.

"No boyfriend would let his girl wear that sexy suit around the beach lady," He said and pulled me close. "What the fuck!" I hissed when he didn't let go of my arms.

"Let g------," natigilan ako ng may humawak sa braso niya. "My girl can wear whatever she wants, you touch her. I'll break your face. That's simple," he darkly said and glared at this guy in front of me.

The guy gets frightened and quickly lets go of my hands and runs away. "Kace, you're here?!"
