~3 years ago~

After calling Myrah, Armando got ready to meet his friends. They were all meeting at a club.

Even though he did not wanted to go, he had to. For the sake of years of friendship. Instead, he wanted to spend the night in the arms of his girl.

He dressed in a pair of washed off ripped off jeans, a grey shirt, black leather jacket and white sneakers.

He drove to the club which was owned by one of his friends and headed straight to the VIP lounge.

He saw his friends already there sipping on their drinks and chatting.

He joined them and had small talk with them. But his heart was somewhere else. He was constantly thinking about Myrah.

His thoughts started nagging him and settled an uneasy feeling in his stomach.

Not being able to control his feelings anymore, just before the clock strikes midnight, he left from there. Much to his friends annoyance.

He drove beyond the speed limit and reached Myrah's apartment. Running up the stairs, his heart started thumping seeing the open door. He swallowed the lump forming in his throat and entered the house.

Everywhere was dark. He switched on the lights and what he saw made him shocked. Everything was thrashed, the television, table, furniture, everything.

He was praying that Myrah is safe.

"Myrah?" He called out but got no answer back.

His heart was thumping in his chest.

The only thing that has been going on his mind is that "please be safe."

He went to the room and saw traces of shoes but that was not all. The shoe traces were of blood. It started from the bathroom to the window. He started to panic.

He ran to the bathroom and there he saw an image that he never ever wanted to see. His Myrah was laying unconscious in a pool of her own blood. His chest felt tight and he felt his tears running down his cheeks.

This is his worst nightmare.

"Myrah." Her name left his mouth as a silent whisper.

He went closer to her and saw her head that seemed was drowned in the water that has now turned into a bloody colour. Her hand tied at the back.

"Myrah." He sobbed as he held her lifeless body close to his chest.

He checked the pulse and by god's grace her heart was still beating. He fished out his phone from his pocket and called the police and an ambulance.

While waiting for them, he took Myrah's body and placed her on the couch. He took a scarf and tied it around her head to stop the excess bleeding.

Less than ten minutes later, the ambulance came followed by the police. The police tried stopping him but he was just rushing to put Myrah in the ambulance.

~~~
Myrah's vision blurred momentarily, as she woke up. The blinding lights made her eyes water. Slowly, she opened her eyes and blinked a few times to get adjusted to the light.
