Myrah woke up the next morning to an empty bed.

She got up and looked around the room but Armando was nowhere to be found. Just as she was about to leave the room, Jeanna appeared in front of her with a tray of food.

Jeanna raised an eyebrow at her.

"Where do you think you are going so early, young lady?" She asked getting inside the room.

"Well, it's not early, it's nine and I was looking for Armando, as well as I have to go and meet the kids." Myrah said.

"You can do all of that after having your breakfast." Jeanna stated.

"But mom." Myrah whined.

"Myrah, go brush your teeth and have breakfast and then freshen up before doing anything else." Jeanna said.

With a sullen face, Myrah went to brush her teeth and take a shower.

Getting back to the room, Myrah saw her mother in law waiting for her.

She joined her and ate her breakfast in silence.

"Myrah?" Jeanna called.

"Hmm?" Myrah answered absentmindedly.

"Honey, I have to talk to you about something." Jeanna said and Myrah's attention fully shifted on her.

"What?" She asked.

"Sweetheart, umm- this accident that happened to you." She started taking her hand in hers.

"Umm actually- How do I say this?" Jeanna asked herself.

"Mom, you are making me nervous." Myrah chuckled nervously.

"The thing is, that- Myrah, you were not the only one in the accident." Jeanna said, her eyes filling up with tears.

"What do you mean? Who was with me?" She asked perplexed.

Jeanna swallowed the lump in her throat nervously and took a deep breath before continuing.

"Angelo and Angeliana were with you." She finally said.

"What? I don't remember. You are lying right?" Myrah said shaking her head, not believing a single word her mother in law said to her.

"Mom?" Myrah was hoping that whatever she was saying was a lie.

But seeing her mother in law breaking down, it seemed true.

"No. No. What happened to them? Mom are they alright?" Myrah asked shaking the shoulders of Jeanna.

"Myrah." Jeanna stopped her.

"What?"

"They did not survive the accident." She revealed.

"No, No, No, I don't belive you. If something like that would were to happen, I would have known, I would remember it. No, my kids are fine, nothing happened to them." Myrah said more likely was convincing herself.
