"Please don't cry Myrah." Armando said rubbing her hands.
"My whole life turned upside down by someone I considered as my best friend. I lost my kids, my husband my family, everything because of him. I am nothing but a fool." Myrah sobbed.
"It's not your fault Myrah. But it's all in the past now. They're getting punished for what they did. Don't stress yourself about this. Forget it now and focus on yourself."
Myrah wiped her never ending tears and nodded.
"Thank you for listening to me Myrah. It feels like a weight off my shoulder." Armando said.
Myrah did not answer him and just looked at him.
"Let's eat." He said.
They ate their food in silence, but as it is said, nothing is louder than the silence between two people who used to love each other.
They paid the bill and went out of the shop.
And unluckily it started raining heavily.
"God damn it! The one day I decide not to bring my umbrella, it rains." Myrah huffed in annoyance.
"I can drop you home." Armando offered.
"If it causes you no trouble."
"No, come let's go." Armando said and they headed to his car.
Armando quickly opened the door for Myrah and ran to the driver's place.
He drove off to Myrah's place.
Stopping in front of the house, Armando turned off the ignition.
Facing Myrah, he expressed himself.
"Myrah, I know that you've already moved on and don't want me in your life but at least can we keep contact, maybe a text message every few months or so. I promise to never interfere in your life, I just would want to know if you're okay." Armando asked full of hope.
Myrah bit her lips and thought about it.
"Get out of the car." Myrah said making Armando confused.
"What why?" He asked.
"Just get out! You never listen to me." She scoffed.
"Fine." Armando said getting out of the car. Myrah did the same and met him halfway around the car.
She stood before him and looked at him.
They kept staring at each other before Myrah asked."So?"
"What?" Armando was seriously confused. How did him asking them to be in contact turn to this.
"You are seriously a fool, Armando." Myrah said before pulling him by the collar of his coat and joined her lips with his.
She kissed him with passion, anger, longing and love.
She would lie if she says she did not miss him because she did. A lot, everyday. Every other things reminded her of him. She tried forgetting him and move on but she does not only gave him her heart. Her entire being, her soul, her existance was made for him
