"Forgive me, Myrah. Please." Jeanna sobbed.

"Mom." Myrah sat back taking Jeanna's hand in hers.

"You did nothing wrong. None of us even thought that he would...mom, the truth is that he does not want me in his life anymore. Basically, I am imposing myself in his life for this past year. It's no more how it used to be. He-he does not love me now, mom. All the love that he had for me turned into hatred." Myrah swallowed the lump in her throat. It was so difficult for her to talk about this.

"I know. Myrah you don't have to be in his life anymore. What he did is unforgivable. Give him a divorce." Jeanna said. She never thought that these words would come out of her mouth ever.

Myrah kept silent and just went to her previous position. Her marriage broke apart. She never had her parents in her life, she lost her kids and now her husband and family.

"You'll still be our daughter. We will all love you the same. You don't have to go anywhere. If someone has to go, it will be him."

"No mom. I can't take your son from you. Armando already hates me. I don't want him to hate me even more and also, I don't want to be the reason of a broken family. Don't worry. You will have your son and family back the same way it was." Myrah said and closed her eyes tightly not wanting the tears to fall.

"I want to sleep." She said, her eyes feeling heavy.

She fell asleep, while laying her head on Jeanna's lap who was softly caressing her hair.

Two weeks later

Myrah got out of the meeting room and was stopped by Taylor.

"Hello, beautiful." Taylor said in his usual cheerful tone.

"Hi." Myrah answered looking up from the file she was studying.

"So, what's your plan for lunch today?" He asked while walking to the elevator.

"Uhh-nothing much. The usual." Myrah said still engrossed in her file.

The door to the elevator opened to the floor and instantly they heard giggling of a child.

Myrah was shocked at the scene happening in front of her eyes.

Noah was giggling loudly and running around. All the while being chased by no other than Greyson.

"Caught you." Greyson said finally taking the little boy in his arms who was laughing uncontrollably.

"Greyson." Myrah smiled and went closer to him, leaving Taylor behind in confusion.

"Hey." Greyson answered.

"This is not fair. I have been trying to get warmed up to him for weeks and he is still not comfortable around me and how come that he is so relaxed with you." Myrah rebuked playfully with a pout.

"Oh poor you." Greyson mocked.

Myrah rolled her eyes and tickled the little boy's tummy who giggled and shyly hid his face in Greyson's neck.
