"Strategy?" Laura asked, perplexed.

"Yes, those people wanted me and Myrah apart from the very beginning. First, they had attacked Myrah and warned her to stay away from me. Did you see the footage of the accident?"

"No. They said that the cameras were not functioning properly for days, so they could not get a footage of what happened and the driver of the truck made a statement that he lost control. The driver died a week later, so we did not get more information. " Laura answered.

"This was all made to belive. But actually the camera system in my office covers that side of the road as well. And I saw how the accident happened. The truck collided with the car but did not stop after the car blew. Once her car landed back to the ground, the truck once again crashed against her." Armando explained.

"What?" Laura was still confused.

"Wait. I have the footage." Armando as he searched for the file in his laptop and once he saw the video, he played it and showed it to Laura.

"Oh Jesus!" Laura face scrunched seeing the accident and she felt sick.

"This was all done purposely." She said holding her little bump. She was feeling out of sorts.

"Yeah." Armando sighed and slumped back on his chair.

"But why did you hurt Myrah, Armando? You could have done this without causing her sorrow. " Laura could not help but ask. This question kept bugging her.

"What do you think? I did not consider that. I did! But Laura the people who are trying to separate us are close to us. And I wanted to act like I assumed they wanted me too. Myrah is my weakness, they knew that. And if something happens to her I would not leave her side. They are very much aware of that."

Rolling her eyes, Laura asked.

"Did you get to know who it is?"

"Isabella." Armando answered.

"And... most probably someone else. And here, it seems it's Taylor."

"How did you know someone else is involved?"

"I've spent quite some time with Isabella. She is a shrewd and manipulating woman but not stupid to make her own hands dirty. But I am confused about Taylor, he seemed a genuine guy and he was Myrah's best friend." Armando expressed.

"Love, Armando. What else? Have you seen the way he looks at Myrah?" Laura said in a duh tone.

"I know. But as you said if he loves her why would he hurt her?"

"Hello! Isabella. She is the mastermind here, You forgot? And by the look of it Taylor is nothing but a big fool." Laura stated the obvious.

"I just need proof to send them to jail. I have everything but yet nothing." He said in desperation.

"Calm down Armando. I'll help you out, we'll have to find something. Well, I hate you a little lesser now. Much less but still hate you for hurting my best friend." Laura said.

"Tell me something, why did you not tell anybody about this?"

"I was scared. I feared that anything I'd do would cost me losing Myrah but look what happened. I already lost her." He said exasperated.
