Gavin's breathing was quick as he ran along the ice-layered sidewalk. He felt a deep, concerning amount of anxiety in his chest, and it scared him.

When he reached the apartments, he shakily unlocked the door. His hands were trembling, so he struggled for a minute or two. When he was in, he slammed the door behind him, too deep in thought and too focused on finding Conan.

"Gav-"

"Hugs, please, h-hugs," Gavin requested, throwing himself into the elder's warm arms.

The android didn't question it, letting Gavin do as needed. He scanned him quietly, seeing that his anxiety was up again. Too much. He was out of breath, his heart was pounding, he was shaking, and his head ached badly.

He held the male in his arms tightly, not daring to move them. He was there when he needed him, never planning on ever pushing him away.

"Sorry, I'm sorry," Gavin breathed out, not releasing him just yet. "I-I just couldn't- It was hard a-and my thoughts..."

"It's okay," the android hushes, "just take a deep breath and calm yourself. It's okay."

The taller continued to reassure him, smoothing out his hair and petting the back of his head. After Gavin deemed himself calm enough, he pulled away, looking to the ground in embarrassment.

"You don't have- is that blood?" Conan's thirium pump skipped a beat when he noticed the slight red stain on Gavin's hands.

"Y-yeah, I slipped on the ice. It's okay, they're just a few scratches. They don't hurt."

Conan shakes his head, leading him to the sink to at least wash the dirt and dried liquid off.

"Be careful next time, okay?"

"I tried, it's ice. Nothing I can really do about it. I just... needed you. I need you, badly."
