Gavin cried when he found out. He was so ashamed of himself and he couldn't bare to tell Conan. He felt so guilty about it.
"G-Gavin?" Conan questioned, seeing his fiancé crying. He held the mans face in his hands while questioning what was wrong.
"I... I lost it... I lost it... I'm sorry... I lost the ring. I lost it. Don't be angry. It's not on my finger. I'm sorry," he sobbed, his eyes puffy and his nose red.
Conan smiled and brought the detective into a hug, "baby, it's okay. It's just a ring. That doesn't mean we won't still get married."
"I k-know but y-you gave me th-that ring. I-it's important to m-me."
"Have you looked for it?" The Android questioned.
"I've looked everywhere. I can't find it," The shorter male said, beginning to calm down from his outburst.
Conan hugged him tighter, "that's okay," abruptly, Conan brought his hand up and opened it, the ring shining in his palm, "because I found it."
Gavin gasped, "w-where?"
"I stepped on it when I was in the kitchen. It was by the microwave on the floor."
"And when were you planning to tell me?" Gavin asked, wondering how long Conan had kept it.
"I found it just this morning. I was going to tell you but you were crying."
"Oh," the detective replied.
"We could always get it in a smaller size if it doesn't fit."
"No, I had taken it off when I was make the cake. It fits fine, I just didn't want it to get dirty."
"Okay. Well I'm happy that you're okay now. Please be more careful with it."
"I will, I will. I'm sorry."
