"S-stop!" Gavin screamed out in pain as his hand was clenched in Rk900's hand. Gavin heard several cracks and felt multiple pains in his hand.

The android shoved him and let the edge of the table hit Gavin's abdomen before twisting his arm behind his back and holding the human up by his hair.

Gavin was in excruciating pain at the moment. Mentally and physically.

He thoughts Nines loved him. He thought everything was going fine. Now, everything just hurt so bad.

Abruptly, a bullet ripped through the air and suddenly, Gavin was falling to the floor. It wasn't Gavin that was shot, no, it was Nines. Or so the detective thought.

When Gavin landed, he shut his eyes while heaving. He turned on his side, his breaths quick.

"Detective? Gavin? Look at me, open your eyes, please!" A familiar voice said in panic.

"P-please don't hurt me," Gavin whispered, turning his head away from the voice.

"Baby boy, why would I ever hurt you? Look at me," a warm hand touched the humans face and he flinched.

He squinted his eyes, seeing Nines again but... Gavin turned his head to see another Rk900, dead, with a bullet wound in his head.

"Th-that wasn't you?" He questioned, his words quivering.

"No sweets, I promise. I'm here, for real. That was another copy of me."

When Gavin looked into the androids eyes, they were blue. Not neon blue. And not a dull, lifeless blue. They were an alive blue. His lovers blue. This was Nines.

Gavin sobbed, painfully lunging toward Nines who gladly took Gavin into his arms.

"I-I thought you suddenly hated me. I thought I was nothing to you anymore. I thought I'd never say I love you to you again. God, Nines, I love you so much," he cried, his grip tightening from fright.

"I love you too. But we need to take you to the hospital. You have a broken hand and a possible head injury along with a few minor things. Come on," the taller man picked up his lover bridal style and carried him to the self driving car.

Gavin just cried silently in Nine's arms. He's thought he lost him forever. But he didn't. He had his boyfriend back. The one who cared for him the most.

The one who he loved with all his heart.
