My First Ever Love

Ch-19, Fresh Start

I woke up to the birds chirping, I tried to sit up but was unable to as I was held tightly by....Aiden's arm? Holy cow what? How? Oh no. Cool down Kia and think. I thought of sliding off his arm but no, he's too strong. Then I thought of waking him up, yup that's the only way left. Or wait what if I tickle him a bit so that he changes his angle and turn the other way around? The best idea, I can even tease him a bit. Hehe!!

I start searching for something within my reach to tickle him. And...do you know what I found? A feather, perfect! I stretch my arm a little to get a hold of the feather wincing a little in pain when I stretched. I took it in my hand and start with my plan. Haha...let's do something evil. *smirks*

I stroke the feather on his cheek for a few minutes, no movement. Fine then, I angle the feather to his ears and start wiggling it, he stirs a little, yay! Wait...he goes back to the same position. Ugh!!
I am getting restless now, I've been inside this tent for a whole day and today I want to wander in this warm breeze but no this boy is an obstacle whom I have to fight. So, this is my last chance, I bring the feather to his under- arms and stroke gently not to wake him up completely. He moves his hand a little, come on Aiden, raise your arm completely up I cheer him in my mind. He raised his arm a little more, and placed it beside him. Yes...finally, Yay!!

I made my way to the river as soon as I left the tent. It was the only place where I could get some peace so, I sat there, my toes in the river with wind brushing past me making my hair get all tangled .

After taking a stroll through the surroundings, I entered the tent to find Aiden still asleep. I had already done my morning routine so I thought of sitting in the tent and wait for others to wake.

I was staring at the feather that I used to tease Aiden but a slight movement from Aiden caught my eye. He swayed his hand once then dropped it and then he was pouting, I mean really pouting. I quickly took my phone out from the back pocket of my jeans and captured the pic. This would be my weapon now...hahaha!!

A few minutes later Aiden opened his eyes and stretched himself, his t-shirt rising up a little in the process. His v-line...OMG!! Concentrate Kia. I reminded myself and averted my eyes from him before getting caught.

"Morning" Aiden greeted me, "Morning," I greeted back. "I see you are in a happy mood, huh?" He asks raising his brow and I reply, "Yup, I am". He further asks me

"And the reason is?" I think about the picture I took and smirk,

"The reason is that, I...have some- nah! Its because I am happy" I say with a grin.
"Something fishy" he says,

"No...I don't think so, why do you feel fishy?" I ask him acting innocent. "Okay then...are you alright? I mean are you still in pain?" He asked concerned and I shook my head.

"I'm all good Aiden" I assure him; he doesn't seem to accept what I say but didn't say anything.

"Okay," he said and walked out of the tent. I sigh in relief and then grin at the thought of his picture I had taken.

After having breakfast, me and my friends made our way to the bon fire where everyone was assembled waiting to hear the instructions. I look around the group when I find sight of a familiar black hair, Brittney. She and her friends were standing with the all girls group and by seeing, I could tell she wasn't liking the group. Ha! She deserves it. Before she sees me, I joined my group.

"Today, we will go for rock climbing and then we'll go and watch few waterfalls and lastly if we have time after watching all the waterfalls, we'll go swimming" Mr. Scott informed us. "Sir, let's go swimming then, why waste time watching waterfalls?" A guy asked. "So smart Jacob but no we will go see waterfalls and you all will have to make one project on all the waterfalls. The guide will explain each waterfall and you'll have to note it down. We can go swimming tomorrow if not today. Am I clear?" Mr. Scott asked and we all chorused "yes sir".

"Hello everyone, my name is Alex Mill and I'll be guiding you to the waterfalls." The guide introduced himself.

We were currently watching the Yosemite falls. It was falling from so high that I had to crane my neck upwards. We had already written about the history of this fall and now we were admiring the view.

"Kia, Julie let's take a selfie." Carrie says and drags us by our hand for a better view of the fall behind us. She takes individual photos with everyone and some lovey dovey photos with Blake. Seeing this Julie also does the same. Jeremy and Daniel were still trying to find themselves a girl so they left us after breakfast.

"Kia, Aiden why don't you take photos too?" Julie asks and I shrug. Why should we, am I his girl friend? I took group photos...isn't that enough. Actually, I suck at taking selfies.

"Oh come on!" Carrie says and drags me by my hand while Julie drags Aiden and stands him beside me. "Okay, 1,2,3 say cheese" Carrie shouts while I smile. We take a few more photos and towards the end we end up slinging our arms over each other's shoulder. "That was some good poses" Julie gushes and I rush towards her to see the pictures she captured. "Yeah, these are pretty good" I accept and nod my head.

"Okay now, it's time for lunch so let's move back to the bon fire. We will continue our tour after lunch." Alex informs and starts moving. We follow close behind him chatting and laughing without any care.
