Ch-8, Unexpected Visit

I slept peacefully after talking to Carrie for about one hour.

The next day, I entered my school premises a little early. I spotted Julie and the guys standing with Aiden and his friends and laughing over something.

I walked towards them and greeted them, they greeted back. At that time I noticed that Carrie and Blake were missing. "Hey guys, where are Carrie and Blake?" I asked.

"Carrie said she is ill." Julie informed me, a frown appeared on my face. "Ill?...She talked to me yesterday and was perfectly fine. What happened suddenly?" I asked confused.

"Maybe she fell sick today morning," Daniel suggest, I nod still a little confused.

"What about Blake?" I asked. "He'll be coming soon" Jake informed. I nodded and after a while, we dispersed into our classes.

It was break time and we were all seated in cafetaria table with our food.

"So...it's Friday tomorrow." Julie says breaking the silence, "and....?" I asked not understanding what she wanted to say.

"Oh come on.....it's Friday, which means party!" she said smiling wide.
I shook my head, " no...I'm not going to any party."

"Oh please...don't be a party pooper now." she whines.

"Party pooper? When did I ever poop in a party?" I asked amused.
Everyone snickered at that.

"Very funny Kia," Julie said sarcastically.

"Kia...is that what they call you?" Aiden asked me and I nodded.
"Okay...Kia," he said smirking and I hit him in the shoulder playfully saying, "it isn't a bad name" I defended myself.

"I never said it was a bad name," he mused and I scoffed at him.
"OMG! You guys are soo cute together." Julie squealed gaining some attention towards our table.

"No...we're not." I say , "I agree," Aiden chimes in. "By the way...seriously 'OMG'?" I ask my eyebrows raised.
She smiles sheepishly at that.

Other than that, we talked, laughed and enjoyed our break. Soon the bell rang, informing that our break was over.

We threw our waste in the trashcan and went to our next classes.

The classes were boring as hell. I was tempted to sleep but didn't dare as Mr. Lutkins was a scary old brat who hates people who don't listen to his teachings.

We all met near Jeremy's locker.
"Guys...gonna go somewhere?" Jake asks us. Everyone agrees except me.

"Kia...don't you wanna come?" Daniel asks me. "Sorry guys....I need to go check up on Carrie," I say apologetically. They nod in understanding.

We bid our goodbyes, and I started walking towards the bus stop as I don't have a car sadly.

I heard a horn honking behind me which caused me to turn around.
I spotted a Toyota, I squinted my eyes to see Aiden sitting there looking at me. I stopped and he smiled. ′Ugh! Not now' I thought.

"How are you going to Carrie's house?" Aiden asks from inside the car. I point towards the bus stop.

"I'll drop you." He said, I look at him confirming what I heard and then ask, "why?"

"Well...for now we are friends so there is nothing bad in me helping you out," he replied shrugging, I nod at what he said. "So...are you coming in or wanna walk to her house cause the bus has come and gone while you were listening to me" he informed me smirking.

I stood there dumbfounded. 'when did the bus come? Why didn't I see? I had a lot of questions in my mind, but was soon broken when Aiden snapped his fingers in front of me.
