My First Ever Love

Ch-3, New School

I was fast asleep when I heard a Bzzz, it was none other than my alarm. I groaned and searched for my alarm clock, my face pressed into my pillow.
At last, I found it and looked at the time in horror.

"Holy moly, its 7:15am." My school began at 8:45am. Well...I knew there would be a lot of time to get ready, but I loved taking extra time in the shower. 

After cleaning myself, I wore white shorts and a peach tank top, did a little make-up, wore my white sneakers and went down stairs to the kitchen.

"Good morning momma." I kissed my mom's cheek and sat down on the dining room.

 "Good Morning Kia, did you sleep well?" My mom asked while setting up my breakfast.

"Yeah mom, the best sleep ever." I grinned at her.

 "That's good sweetheart" my mom smiled at me.

"Are you ready Kia?" Dad asked from the stairs. 

"Yeah dad, let's go" I took my bag from beside me and made my way out of the door. We drove towards my school in silence humming to the radio.

As we neared the school, I looked at the building amazed through my window. It was huge, really huge.

Dad stopped the car near the school gate, I got out of the door and turned around, "bye dad, love you" I said and he drove off.

I entered the school building and started searching for the office to get my schedule. "Yeah, found ya!" I muttered to myself in relief at the sight of the office.

"Excuse me, I'm new here." I told the lady sitting behind the table who was so lost in the computer kept in front of her. "Oh....hello, your name?" she asked without taking her eyes from the device.
"Kiara Jones" I replied simply.

"Wait a second," she said and later she gave me my schedule and my locker number.

My first class was English, I was a little nervous as all the people here were really rich, not that I wasn't but still...

I reached the class and handed a slip to the teacher who looked old and wore crooked glasses, "Oh, so you are new here? What's your name? " He asked and I simply nodded and said "I'm Kiara jones". 

"Great so you can sit at any vacant place" he said and turned the other way around. I stood there looking for a seat when I saw a girl waving her hand and motioning for me to go there. I shrugged and went.

"Hey! I'm Carrie Williams. Come sit with me" The girl introduced herself. 

"Hi! I'm Kiara Jones" I smiled towards her. The rest of the class went in a blur, mostly concentrating hard to catch up with the teacher.

Carrie was a cute and a kind girl with blonde hair. She was in a good shape. She was a bit taller than me. She had almost all the classes with me except history. I was glad she approached me or else I would have been bored out of my mind. 

After two more classes, Carrie asked me to join her in the cafetaria. She practically dragged me to her other friends who were already seated with their food. I got my own food from home, so it was okay.

"Hey guys!! She is Kiara Jones and will accompany us from now on." Carrie introduced me to her friends. 

"Hey! I'm Daniel." A cute boy with silky black hair greeted me. I smiled at him and nodded. 

"I'm Julie the most funniest person here." A thin petite girl with little brownish hair and freckles beneath her eyes introduced herself with a huge smile. Others laughed at her and I simply smiled.

"And I am the world wide handsome, Jeremy." A hot boy with cute dimples said which made me giggle.

"It's nice to meet you all" I said still smiling.

After the break we had three more classes. I was exhausted by the end of the classes. I wanted to go straight home and lie down on my bed.

After bidding a good bye to my new friends, I started walking to my home. Well, dad messaged me that he had some urgent meetings to attend so he won't pick me up and I didn't have money so the only option left was to walk.

I was walking outside the school gates when a bike practically ran into me. "Are you crazy or what?" I yelled at the person. ′What's wrong with all the bikes here trying to kill me′ I thought.

The guy riding the bike stopped and turned around removing his helmet. I was shocked to see the same guy as yesterday. He walked towards me and I checked his profile clearly this time, he is hot like a Greek god with chocolate brown eyes and perfect amount of muscles. His brown curly hairs were tousled.
I suddenly forgot why I was there. Though, when I remembered, I looked at him with rage.

"Hey! You're the same girl who ran into me yesterday....right?" He asked. 

"I ran into you? Seriously? You were practically going to kill me the second time." I yelled at him pissed. 

"Whatever! do you go to this school?" He asked ignoring what I said. 

"yeah! Does it bother you?" I asked gritting my teeth in annoyance.

"Oh....come on now don't get all pissed. What's your name? Oh wait....are you Kiara Jones the talk of our school?" 'The talk of our school?' I thought confused.

"Do you go to the same school?" I asked him to which he said, "why do you think I'd be here if I don't go to this school?..so yes I go to this school." I nodded. Ugh! Him and his attitude.

"Cool, now get away from my way" I swatted my hands as if shooing the bugs off, and walked past him.

"Hey momma, I'm home" I called out to my mom.

 "I'm here" she said from the kitchen. I removed my bag from my shoulder and made my way to the kitchen. 

"So how was the first day of your new school?" she asked while making pancakes. Yum! I love pancakes. Who doesn't love it after all.

"It was fine, I made new friends though," I told her and she beamed saying, "new friends on the first day. Hmm...I'm impressed" I laughed and reminded her whose daughter I was. 

"Yeah! Yeah! Now go freshen up" she ushered me towards the stairs.

At 7:00p.m. dad came home. He was exhausted. I thought getting a promotion would lessen his job a bit, but it seemed like the opposite happened. He freshened himself and joined us for dinner. 

"So Kia, how was your day?" Dad asked to which I replied the same response I told mom. He nodded while eating. "I hope you didn't have difficulty coming back home from school. I had urgent meetings to attend so, couldn't make it." He said apologetically.

"Dad, don't worry about me. I know you have a lot of responsibility right now." I assured him, he smiled, "my daughter is so grown up now."

Me and mom chuckle before continuing to eat. I washed my dishes after eating and went to my room.

Later that night , I lied on my bed having nothing to do. I tried skyping with Lila and Jonah, but apparently they were busy, Lila messaged me that they had gone to some party so they won't be able to skype.

Well....I got so bored that I drifted to sleep without knowing.
