Chapter-43, The 'L' Word

It's the day after New Year and today we all are going for a mass date i.e, me and Aiden, Carrie and Blake, and Jules and Jake. I know it's not needed since we all are together all the time, but the girls wanted to experience a proper date with everyone present so I agreed. I wouldn't miss out on hanging out with them, now would I?

This time we girls decided to do the reservations and stuff and let the boys sit still and look pretty...hehe!

A change is always accepted, and it will also give us a chance to do something for our partners. This being done, I have to hurry up to the restaurant where we are gonna eat to make some arrangements with the girls. It can't be very romantic but it has to look like a date is what I think though the girls believe simply eating in the restaurant is fine.

Looking at the time, I decided to get ready and help my mom in the kitchen before heading out. I wore black jeans and a body fitting top and a leather jacket over it to finish the look.

I reached the restaurant a little earlier than intended, so I ordered a chocolate smoothie while waiting for Cassie and Jules. They arrived ten minutes later and we started our preparations for today's date. Firstly, we booked a table at the very corner of the restaurant where it won't be crowded. Then, had three candles set on the table for each couple. Next, we told the restaurant manager to have the waiters send non- alcoholic beverages when we settle down with our partners and to keep in mind our preparation and not to mess it up.

It was already four when we finished with our work so we went to our own houses to get ready. It was decided that Carrie will come to pick us up at around seven and then we together will go to pick the boys for our date.

I quickly got home and went to have a long bath. Spending almost an hour in the shower, I decided to wear a white dress shirt since we were going with our friends. Leaving my hair open, it rested on my back with natural waves. Applying light makeup, I observed myself in the mirror. Not bad!

It was almost time for Carrie to come and pick me up so I checked myself for the last time and went downstairs. Mom and dad had dinner plans with their friends since it was the first day after a new year so, there won't be anyone home after I go.

Beep! Beep!

Carrie's message to get my ass out of my house was all I needed to Lock the door and get into her car.

"Hey girls!" I greeted both Carrie and Jules and they greeted back. Carrie started the car and we drove off to Blake's house since they had decided to wait at one place for our sake which we are grateful for. Few minutes later we arrived and let the boys in.

The boys were amazed at our settings when we reached our booth. The first few minutes after settling down, all we heard were praises and we girls had wide grins plastered on our faces. The praises continued until the waiter came with wine and a menu for us to choose.

Our food consisted of Lasagna, French fries, pizza and drinks. The guys were stealing our food even though they had their own food, and the excuse they gave us was that sharing is caring which made us snort. Aiden then whispered in my ears that my order looks much tastier than his to which I gave an eye roll.

Looking at each one of them laughing and having a great time made me content. After all the fiasco that happened with me, they have been my support along with my parents. In school they all acted like my bodyguard, replying to all the crude comments thrown my way and helping me to keep coming to school. They helped in deleting all the posts from social media. At home, we had movie sessions just for my sake, and lastly they were with me when I went to file a case against him. I was against it at first because there was a time when we used to be best friends but it changed when I realised that he didn't even feel an ounce of regret for what he did and I was by no means going to let it go.
