Just as she reached her car, strong arms circled around her waist. Someone picked her up as if she weighed nothing more than a stick and carried her back to the house, growling in anger.

It was terrifying!

"Don't you dare to run off ever again." Eros mumbled into her ear, barely holding himself back from snapping at his soulmate.

Ava screamed, cried and tried to kick him but nothing worked.

"Let me go! You are crazy! Let me go!" She yelled out again and again.

"I will never let you go mate." His low, dangerous voice sent chills down her back.

This had to be a bad dream! Tyler wouldn't be like that, it couldn't be!

Slowly giving up she whispered: "Please Tyler. I know you would never do something like that. Just let me go." But he didn't budge. Her last bit of hope had vanished.

What Ava didn't notice is Tyler's heart breaking at her words.

But more important than her trust was her staying right by his side, so they both carried their mate up all the way to their bedroom.

Yes, their bedroom.

There was no way in hell that the two of them would ever sleep in separate bedrooms again, Eros would make sure of that.

As Ava noticed him walking past her bedroom door, her fear grew even more.

What would he do to her now?

Her heart beat increased.

Was she about to get raped?

With her last bit of strength she tried to escape him once again but nothing worked.

Eros opened the door to his bedroom an carried his frightened mate over to the enormous four-poster bed.

He threw her onto the mattress and got on top, holding Ava down with his arms alone.

Tears were still streaming down her face and she looked up at him completely terrified.

"You will not run from me." He stated casually and looked into her eyes.

The human nodded her head unsure of what was to come.

Tyler sighed and let go of her. Finally he was able to get back control.

He sat down a little further so she could sit up without feeling caged in.

Ava quickly did so and crawled to the very end of the bed, as far away from him as possible.

She was shaking and felt worn out.

"What do you plan on doing with me?" Her voice squeaked in fear.

Tyler crooked his head, crocked an eyebrow and stared at her. He sighed.

"I wanted to do this the right way. Seduce you to stay with me, let you fall in love and complete the mate bond. But now you seem so scared of me human." Her eyes widened.

She had no idea what he was talking about, why he called her 'human' and what this 'mate bond' was supposed to mean.

His eyes changed colour from dark brown to yellow again and again. It made her shiver.

"What do you mean by mate bond? Why do you call me mate? Was this planned from the beginning?" The feeling of betrayal grew with every thought that came to her mind.

"Why did he choose me to play his sick games with?" Ava accidently mumbled out loud, close to hyperventilating.

"Because you are my soul mate." Eros growled and lunged forward.
