Clem's POV

Vi and Aasim left the next day, and have been gone for a couple days now. Since then, it's been pretty nice. I spend most of my time with Aj and Louis, and when I'm not I'm working with Gabe and Kate.
Vi and Aasim planned to meet up with Javi, but we're going to check out the old delta spots before. Once that happens they plan to come back with whatever they found..
Louis has been helping Gabe and spending time with him now, and he's even started working on the wall with him. Aj has become more welcomed to the community, many people actually remember him from when he was a child.
Gabe and Kate seem to be pretty watchful of us, but it's hard to tell if it's because they care or because they're worried. Worried about what I don't know yet. Maybe Vi and Aasim were right about something.
One thing that is an annoyance is that Gabe teases me whenever I'm with Louis.
"There goes Richmonds newest lovebirds!"
I just laugh it off and sometimes even glare. Gabe apologizes usually later saying he does it cause he's around his men, though they don't seem to find it funny either.
I thought Louis would hate it too, but he doesn't seem to mind. Aj seems to not care either, probably still doesn't understand "Love" and relationships fully yet. I'm just confused by how I should be feeling.
Finally, when I was working with Kate I wanted to ask her for advice on everything I was going through.
"Kate, how did you get over losing your husband?"
Kate stops working, and goes to sit by a nearby bench. I follow along and sit with her.
"It wasn't easy, but having someone to care for and a reason to continued helped. I had Gabe, Mariana, and eventually Javi. I didn't want to move on and find someone new, but I needed something to motivate me."
"But eventually you did find someone."
"Yeah, I did find someone. It didn't happen instantly, we both needed to figure out what we wanted, if it's right, and if we were ready to do something like that."
I nod my head and look up at the sky. All I want is to see Y/N again. To feel his love again. That might never happen though.
"Clem, I know it might be hard to accept, but Y/N would want you to be happy. That's what I told myself when I was ready."
"Yeah, but I don't think I am ready. I still think about him and care for him greatly. It's just....hard not having someone like him around."
"Seems like you found someone though."
She nods towards Louis and then grins. I blush and shake my head.
"No, GABE apparently found someone for me. Always teasing and making jokes about me with him."
"Some jokes have a little truth to them."
"Yeah well I don't want that to be true!"
I look back down at the ground and let out a sigh.
"I'm sorry Kate."
"I know Clem. Just try your best to move on. You'll be ready eventually, so just take your time. At the end of the day, you have Aj and all of us."
Kate stands up and looks at me.
"Why don't you take the rest of the day off? Go spend time with Aj and your friends. I'm sure you're whole family would enjoy a nice meal together."
