Y/N POV
———————————————————————————
It's been six months now, and things have gotten better. Clem told everyone about what I went through, so all of them have been super supportive.

Clem's helps me deal with any nightmares I have at night or in the morning. She somehow finds a way to make me feel better once I'm finished speaking. Even if it's by saying nothing, it's good to vent

My nightmares don't happen as often as they used to, but they still make an appearance every once in a while.

Violet and Louis have stepped up with a lot of the physical demands, though there isn't really much. They did build a fence and alarms for warnings of hordes, which I did help a little with, that make it feel much safer then before.

Aasim does a lot of hunting during the day, which is fine since we're able to find game here. I'll take Aj and whoever fishing in the lake usually, so that helps us too. Plus it calms my nerves.

Aj is getting bigger and stronger by the day. It's hard to believe that he was up to my waist not long ago, and now he's reaching my chest. He'll be a great leader someday.

For me, I don't do a whole lot. I still help out here and there, but I did promise Clem not to leave often when we were still at the school.

Most days I spend it cleaning, cooking, or working on something at our home. If it's none of those, then I'm probably fishing, spending time with Clem, or hanging with the others.

Some days I sit and worry about what might happen. Worry about the future and what it'll bring us. Whenever this happens, Clem or the others bring me back to the present. I need to get better on doing it on my own.

I know I can't worry about the future. I can't think about the past and regret my decisions. I just have to be in the present, and so far it's helped hide what this world is.

Until my time comes, I'll enjoy every moment I can with the ones I love. Especially the girl who saved me.
