Y/N POV
———————————————————————————
My mind is empty and I feel nothing. My body moves on it's own as it makes it's way back down the street to the jail Aasim and Vi were in.

I circle the building and see more guards arrive. They're the same used at the camp, so they were most likely prisoners at one point. Probably called them in to help find everyone.

Good thing I had this planned out.

Across the neighborhood on the opposite direction of their car, I set a little distraction. A couple of candles and gasoline is all it takes. Throw in some wooden towers and some spots in the wall made of wood, they'll have themselves a good amount of time to get away.

I do feel bad about any of the families that get killed in this. They shouldn't have much casualties since it's night time, and the guards will stop it soon enough. Still, they don't deserve any of what's about to happen.

These guards here however, they can suffer. They're not good people. That woman is gonna get what she deserves. Anyone who gets in my way as well.

The guards soon get radio calls about the fires starting. Time to get started.

I walk up one by one, slicing the guards down quietly. No one seems to notice until the captain calls for them to regroup. He waits by the entrance, but no one shows.

"Where you guys at?"

He walks forward heading in the direction of the radios. The lone guard finally sees a body, and instantly turns to run towards the door.

I trip him and knock his weapon away. I put my knee to his neck and begin to choke him.

"Where's your leader? Huh? Where's the woman in charge?!"

The soldier begins to tap my knee begging for air, so I give it to him. He takes deep breaths before finally speaking.

"She's at the front gate with her husband. It's highly guarded, so you'll have no way to her."

"Let me worry about that. Aren't there a lot of fires going on around this place? Lot of entrances for walkers to get in....you better hurry off if you actually care for this place."

I lift myself away from him after I take his weapons. The man gets up and runs out the door. I walk out to see that he's running the opposite direction of the smoke, and instead heading to a nearby wall outpost.

"Coward."

I head off towards the entrance to take care of what needs to be done.

Clem POV

"Vi, where is the car?"

"Where almost there Aj, just keep moving."

We've been walking for 20 mins now, and we haven't seen many walkers. Noise has increased behind us as we get further away from Richmond. Y/N, what are you doing?

"Vi, are we almost there? Louis is gonna need a break soon."

"Here, I'll take Aasim. It's right ahead, one more block."

"Violet."

Violet turns to look at me as she takes Aasim from Louis.

"Do you know what Y/N has planned?"

"Not a clue. I'm not sure what he's gonna do."

"Same here, and it's got me worried."

Aasim raises his head and looks at me.

"Y/N....he'll be fine. He always is."

Aasim lays his head into violets shoulder and smiles. He's not doing well at all. Luckily, Violet was right and we soon arrived at the car.

It's an old van that is able to fit all of us luckily. We lay Aasim down in the back, until Violet freaks out.

"Someone was here. Look!"

In the passenger seat is a backpack that has a notebook on it. Almost everyone is focused on what she finds, even Aasim has his head tilted to the front.

"I think it was Y/N. He left a note and supplies."

Violet begins to read through what it says and her face begins to shift. She lets out a sigh, and hands it to Clementine.

"It's for you Clem."

I take the note and sit down in the passenger. I don't know what to expect from this note. Will it have answers? Will it be a love letter? I'd much rather just hear you talk Y/N.

My dear Clementine,
Life has been a struggle for a long time. I've lost people, I've been injured, and I haven't been all there in the head. One thing that was a constant was you. You were there for me when I needed you, and I was there when you needed me. We could always count on each other. Now....I don't know if that's true.

You probably won't see me for a while, and I'm hoping you're the one who found this. It'd be ironic if some random person found the car and stole everything. Anyway, let me explain.

I went through a lot at this camp. At first it wasn't too bad. Had two friends and I stayed out of trouble. Eventually we were going to escape, but I couldn't wait. Ended up getting caught, and tortured. Before that, I had to earn my life.

I...I had to kill my friend. Gabe made me do it. I almost couldn't do it, but the thought of seeing you gave me strength.

I stop reading and begin to cry. All you wanted was to see me, and now you have this thought that I don't love you anymore. I'm so sorry Y/N.

After that, Gabe took me into a cell where he'd visit me at night. They starved me, beat me, and fucked with my head. By the time I got out, I didn't have much hope anymore.

I wanted to quit, accept whatever happened, but then you came to mind. The thought of seeing you, Aj, and everyone helped me. I won't lie though, it was mostly you.

But, when I was free, my mind went to one thing. Revenge. I killed everyone there. I don't think anyone survived, not even the prisoners. They weren't supposed to die, but the walkers got to them.

I killed Gabe. Left him for dead, and he's probably walking around somewhere wishing I killed him. It's not over yet.

I'm gonna finish the job, take out the woman. Whoever Gabe answered too. Make sure something like that place never exists again.

After that, I don't know what I'll do. I told Violet and Aasim to get you guys to the lake. Maybe I'll meet you there, some pretty nice houses if you ignore the flooded ones.

Part of me thinks I should stay away. That I don't deserve to be happy, but also I'm scared of what you and everyone will think.

Oh well, there's nothing to worry about. I'll be back before you know it, and then we can go somewhere new together. Until I see you again Clem.
