Y/N POV
———————————————————————————
I've been here for five days now. Since arriving here, I've been able to get closer to Luke and Drago. We're almost inseparable, always together talking or working.

Nothing crazy has happened since Luke and Drago's fight. No one could have expected them to become friends after, I sure didn't. Hell, I didn't even think I'd become friends with Luke.

Yet, here I am. Stealing supplies for this guy and getting closer to him. Drago is part of the plan now too. Luke isn't much for details, but I think we have something that will work.

The best option would be when we're at a community part of this prison, or to do it at night when most of the guards are asleep.

Problem is the guards are starting to get suspicious of us, and we might have to rethink our plans. Drago on the other hand thinks we need to hurry up the plans now.

"You need to wait big man. We gotta stay calm if we wanna get out together."

"Oh come on now Luke! If one of us gets out, then we have a better chance of helping the others get out. We can get supplies, take out guards, do whatever needs done then!"

I turn to Drago annoyed now. "Yeah, and it also makes it easier for you to abandon us."

"Now that's just rude boy. I ain't gonna do no such thing."

"Well, I'm not gonna lie. I would."

Luke and Drago look at me straight faced, and shoot glances at each other.

"Look, there's someone out there I need to find. I don't know if she's hurt, dead, or worse. If we're going out now, I need to get out first Luke. You promised you help me get out of here."

Luke lets out a sigh, and looks me in the eyes. "You're right, but did you forget your end of the bargain?"

"Taking over this place?? Why the hell....Luke, I respect you but that makes no sense."

How and why would someone want to take over this place? There's nothing to gain from it

"Y/N, do you only care for yourself, or can you not help others? Look around, this is a slave camp. We need to stop this."

"How the hell can we do that in here?? The only option I know that is possible for sure is that if I get out, then I can find my family."

"And then they'll be out looking for you. You boys don't know what happens when someone escapes, but it becomes hell here. For everyone, and for you if you're caught."

I look at Drago as he lifts up his shirt and turns around. Burn marks are on his back, they branded him to remind him who he belongs to.

"What the fuck....That confirms it."

I turn to Luke and tilt my head asking silently to share. He is still shocked, almost angry.

"The reason I left the New Frontier was to see if they were starting to go back to their old ways. A while back, before I joined, the New Frontier would use communities to provide for them."

Me and Drago sit down and listen to Luke continue.

"We stopped all that once a leaders brother took over, but eventually people started to get suspicious. At night, repairs would be finished at our community and the leaders would say it was just volunteers. What volunteers? Volunteers from neighboring communities. Can I join? No they don't need anymore help, your needed here. Finally, I had enough. I left one night, but eventually I gave up searching. After that, I just started doing my own thing."

"The point is that these guys are dangerous, and you can't go leave. It won't end well, you just need to wait it out Y/N. Both of us are telling you that you need to wait, so just wait."

Alright, if that's how it's gonna be...

"Yeah Luke, I won't do anything."

I guess I'm gonna have to do this on my own.

"Alright guys, let's get going."

We're all together standing in front of the trail. There weren't many signs of walkers on the way, which is expected since were not near any major city. That being said, we need to keep our eyes open.

The terrain is pretty slippery and unstable due to some rain we had the night before. The trail is muddy, which makes it hard to tell what is and isn't the trail. Luckily we have Aasim, so it shouldn't be a problem staying on the trail.

About a hour in the hike, we start to get deep in the woods and really elevated. The sky begins to get dark and the wind begins to pick up.

"Aasim are we almost off this trail?"

"No, but we're more then half way. We just need to keep pushing and hope to find some shelter."

We start to increase our pace, but we're stopped instantly when the rain begins to come down on us. The trails get even more slippery and we are forced to take it slower now.

"I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING! ARE WE ALMOST THERE?"

"NO, WE STIL HAVE A-"

Thunder crashes above us, and causes several of us to jump. Some of us lose our footing and slide down the steep hill. Louis, Violet, and Aj all slide down the hill. I nearly jump down to grab them, but Aasim stops me.

"WE CAN'T GET MORE SEPERATED! STAY ON THE TRAIL WITH EVERYONE, I'LL GO AFTER THEM!"

"BUT I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'M GOING!"

"JUST STAY IN THE TRAIL, AND YOU SHOULD SEE THE LAKE EVENTUALLY! FIND SOME SHELTER, OR TRY TRY TO FIND THE CABIN! DON'T FORGET WHICH NUMBER IT IS!"

I nod my head and he turns to slide down. Okay, stay on the trail and find cabin 23. Or was it cabin 43? Shit

Aasim is already down the hill with the others, and it looks like walkers have decided to join them. We see their figures run off the same way we are heading, but it's hard to tell if they're okay. I'm focused on Aj's safety the most, but I don't want to lose anyone else also.

The rest of us keep moving down the trail. Walkers soon start to appear in front of us and higher up the mountain. They begin trip and slide down from above, so the need to get to safety increased.

"RUN! HUG THE HILL AND STICK WITH EACH OTHER!"

I take off and hear them follow after me. I look back every couple seconds, and pull my weapon out for any walkers ahead. One grabs me as it's on the ground from its fall, but I take care of it easily. Anymore who are in front of me get shoved down the hill to the water below.

Eventually, the trail begins to descend and the water below grows in size from a creek to a river to a lake.

We get to an opening and run to the nearest shelter, a fishing hut for the lake, and get inside to get away from the storm and walkers. They shouldn't be a problem since they can only see as much as we can, and because it's so loud from the rain.

We break open the door and get inside, luckily no one has been in here since the outbreak it looks like. Dust and spider webs, expired worms, and notes from park rangers still surround the hut.

We remove our things and barricade the door incase walkers do show up. Everyone decides to take a nap except for me since someone needs to stay on watch, and because I'm too worried about Aj.

He has a good group with him, so he should be fine. Ifs still hard to relax when he's out there in this weather without me, especially with walkers going around.

Suddenly, the thought of Y/N comes to mind. What are they doing to him? Is he okay? Is he waiting for me? What are you doing tonight babe? Please be safe.

Alright Clementine, I'm coming for you.

I light a match from a stolen match I got earlier in the day, and toss it onto the unmanned stove in the kitchen.

I'm coming baby.
