Part 15: Two Sides

Clem POV

I walk forward towards Javi and we embrace one another. Guns begin to lower all around us, and we break our friendly embrace and begin to laugh

"Of all the people I thought I'd see, I didn't think it would be you!"

"I know! We were checking to see the damage on the lake and surroundings, when we ran into them. The only reason I thought you'd be around is because of that little guy there."

Javi points to Aj, and I wave him over. "Aj, this is a good friend of mine. His name is Javi, and he helped me find you."

"Hi Aj, it's so good to finally meet you."

Aj very hesitantly shakes Javier's hand, and then returns back to hide behind me. That's when Violet begins to speak up.

"Clem, how do you know this guy? He made it seem like you were close, but we weren't trying to get caught with our pants down. No offense."

Javi nods his head towards Violet to show now hard feelings. I then begin to tell how me and Javi met, what we went through, and how we helped each other get what we want. I also tell Javi how I found Aj, fought the Delta, and made a new family with my friends. By the time I finished, everyone was sitting on the deck relaxing.

"Wow Clem, you never mentioned that before. Aj did you know all that?"

"Nope! Why wouldn't you tell me?"

I shrug my shoulders and think of an answer. Before I can reply, Javi beats me to it. "Probably because it wasn't important. I'm mean it was, but living on the road has more important things to focus on."

Then Willy gets hand a piece of paper from Louis, where did he get another notebook?

We weren't living on the road though. We had our own home a while back before we ran out of food and supplies. Why didn't you tell us then?

"I just didn't think about it. I told you guys a little about it when I first arrived, but I never felt like I needed to share. We were always busy fighting someone, or just trying to survive."

Javi now injects himself in the conversation. "So, you guys left the school to find a new home? Then why did you come so far up north?"

I let out a sigh and look down to the ground. Aj answers for me. "We went looking for Y/N. He's really important to our group, especially me and Clem."

"Especially you and Clem?"

Javi gives a confused look to me and I just shrug my shoulders.

"Well, Clem you and your friends are welcome to come to Richmond. The fighting with The Delta stopped a while ago, so it's pretty peaceful now. Plus, I can help you find Y/N and bring him back to Richmond."

I smile at Javi and look at the others. They still seem hesitant, so I try to get them excited to go.

"Guys, we should go! New Richmond has huge walls that protects us from walkers, they have food and water, and they have electricity! This is our best bet to finding Y/N and living a peaceful life."

Before I'm even finished, everyone is already on board to tag along. Javi lets out a laugh and whistles for his men to come back.

"Alright, we're bringing my good friends home. All of you load in one truck, and give these guys some privacy so they feel more comfortable."

His men nod their heads and head over to their cars parked on a stone road. Everyone begins to flow over to the cars, while Javi, Aj, and I walk together.
