I wake up early the next day and go out to the courtyard. I couldn't get any sleep at all last night due to what Clem said. I'm surprised she could tell I was lying, but the fact that she was so intimidating shocked me. It's starting to give me second thoughts on our plan, but she still doesn't know what was said so we should be fine.

Once in the courtyard, I start to plan out our points of interest for scavenging. There aren't many places left to look, but we need to get what we can before we leave this school. Me and Violet will definitely go to the hospital, and we can send the others to search the remaining areas. I doubt there is much left at the boat or train station, but we can try them.

Soon Aasim walls out of the school and is sitting with me at the table. We acknowledge each other, but remain silent until he finally speaks up.

"Me and Ruby broke up."

My eyes look surprised when I hear what he says, but he already puts a hand up to stop me from saying anything.

"I know you knew Y/N, you're the reason I know now. "

"Oh, so Omar told you?"

"Yeah, he came last night and wanted to talk us. Ruby tried to stop him, but it was too late. I didn't even need to hear him say it. Before he finished his sentence, I got a shot on him."

I shake my head in disapproval, but the smile on my face says otherwise. I would have reacted the same if that happened to me, but I would have done worse. Friend or not, I'd be going wild.

"After I knocked him over, Ruby and him started to argue. From how she acted, she wanted to keep it a secret still, but you talked Omar into telling."

"Yeah, I told him that either he could tell you or I would. So then what happen?"

"I started grabbing my things and left. Moved into your old room. They might have spent the night together for all I know."

"Damn dude, do you want to talk about it?"

"No thanks, what's there to say? My girlfriend cheated on me with one of my best friends. I'll deal with it when were all safe."

I let out a sigh and shake my head. This is going to be a bigger problem then he thinks. People will pick sides, this could lead to people saying or doing something they regret.

"Fine, but there will be problems from this. Just don't be surprised, and don't try to start anything."

I pull out the map of the area and place it in front of him. "Alright, where are these hunting areas at? We can try to figure out what's the best option and then tell everyone."

Aasim looks at the map and points at several locations. Most are still in the state, but some are up north as well. If things do go bad, we can always try to move out of state, but that's much easier with a car.

"Well, its probably best to start with ones nearby and have surrounding small towns. No citys, Clem won't want to do that."

Aasim nods his head, and starts to circle areas we could check out. Part of me wants to stay with him, but I don't know if he wants any company.

"Aasim, I was gonna try to get some sleep. Do you want me to stay up with ya?"

"Nah Y/N, just go get some rest."

"Alright, make sure you do the same."

He nods his head in agreement and starts to work on the map again. Hopefully we can take care of scavenging tomorrow before we head out for our new home. I get back in bed quietly, and slowly try to fall back asleep.
