After the carnage that was the night of them taking the Tog II LB for a rampage, they made their way back to Osaka.
The ride wasn't at all unpleasant as it would be in any other tank. The Tog II LB was actually comfortable with lots of space, a plethora of supplies, and actual sleeping bags. The brilliantly designed suspension, engine, and transmission made their drive faster than they had anticipated, and smooth along bumpy roads and going over obstacles.
When they stopped during the night, they slept under the stars. Erwin gradually got to know Pope, to the point where he told her his real name. His real name was Hamen, and it was quite a special moment, as he hadn't been called that in a while, and not by a lot of people.
Throughout his life, he was simply seen as Pope, the bridge to their god, and expressed their interests. It struck a heart chord with him, as all his life he had been seen as something he wasn't, but she saw him for his real self.
The part that so longed to get out of the empty shell that was the mask he wore for years, had finally come out.
During the last day before arrival back at Osaka, Erwin taught him how to comfortably hold a girl's hand. The first few times she held his hand, he always held it in weird positions with either to much grip or not enough.
Time went on, and now they were in Osaka.
All of the schools were training with each other in battle positions, learning how to use guns more effectively, attacking, and in some cases, defending. The bigger tanks from the outside schools were always in front as their armor was far greater, but an exception was made to Kuromorimines Maus tank.
They were greeted by the leaders of the schools, and there was a massive amount of happiness for Erwin and her crew being back alive, but no so much for Hamen.
Erwin yelled "No he saved us for a fate worse than death! Don't hurt him!"
Too little, too late.
Nemesis and Conqueror couldn't hear her love their internal hatred.
PUNCH!
Conqueror struck first with his metal fist into his shoulder. The bone wasn't broken, but the pain was immense.
Nemesis went to town on him.
There is such a saying called, 'Kick the dog while it is down', and it encapsulated it perfectly.
Kicking him, bringing him up, and then slamming down. Blood was spilled onto Nemesis's trench coat, and Lenin joined in. He couldn't do as much, as both his strength and force was rather pathetic.
"You demon! fucker! Bitch! Subhuman monster! YOU DESERVE TO DIE!" Nemesis yelled in her anger.
"You caused all of this pain! For me, for everybody!"
Erwin at this point was crying at how badly Nemesis was beating her up.
She decided to pipe up "He was a puppet for them! and believe me, he could've gone down the path of evil and killed me along with my crew, but he chose to gather information, knowing the inevitable, and when it was perfect to time to betray them! HE DID! THAT'S WHY I AM ALIVE!"
Nemesis kept on going, and Kirovets decided to step in.
He stood two inches taller than her and was more muscular, but his adrenalin was not even comparable.
He grabbed her by the arms, bringing his arms around, and dragged her away as she continued to fight to get out of his solid grip. It was a hard job, and everybody could see from his red face, he was giving it his all.
Eventually, Nemesis calmed down and saw the horror on Kay's face. She looked to be, afraid of her one in every way possible at that moment. With emotions and blood pumping high, Nemesis walked away fast.
"Ok, well you're coming with us for interrogation," Matteo Tremblay said.
Vincent Gangnong came also to help pick up Hamen from the ground. He was bloodied up, injured, and had mud all over him.
"Were first going to clean you up though, right Matteo"
"Yes Vincent"
Conqueror decided they didn't need Nemesis this for this, her anger would get in the way. In a way, he was beginning to hate her.
"When the world told me that Canadians were nice, I guess they weren't lying," Hamen said happily.
Vincent replied with equal content "Of course we are because all of that anger and hatred went somewhere else"
Once inside the building, the Canadians led him over to a room with a shower and clean clothes for him to change into. It had no windows and only a door. Hamen may have been presented nicely by Erwin, but they weren't taking their chances.
Once they closed the door and stood guard outside, the conversation about him began.
Darjeeling: He seems to have a complex past, but Erwin summed it up as, he stayed with them so he could betray them, yet how do we know that he is telling the truth.
Miho: Seeing as how Erwin and her crew are alive despite being captured by them, I think we can trust him.
Conqueror: Too quick and to nice, we need to get the answers a way you girls might not like.
Darjeeling: What would that be?
Conqueror then brought out a heavy British assault rifle, the SA80.
Conqueror: We have come too far to treat matters like this lightly, especially when it comes to attacking.
Darjeeling: Why can't you just trust him.
Conqueror: Trust a person from a cult school that believes we are satan, not to mention he was the leader, there is no such way you can convince me.
Darjeeling: Resorting to violence to get your answers! You are becoming your own worst enemy!
Conqueror: If that's so, then what do you have in mind.
Darjarling: Um...I...uhhhhh.
Lenin: Then it seems you should leave it to him.
