Placing it into Katyhuas hands, and she closed her self around it.
Kirovets then laid down on the floor, ready to go to sleep on the a hard surface.
Katyusha then spoke up.
"Thank you, and I wonder, what brought you to do this"
Kirovets looked over with his silent eyes and then got up.
He walked over to the box with fairy tale books, dug to the bottom, and got out a small enclosed box.
Handing it to her, and once she took it, he sat down on the cottage bed beside her and just looked outside.
Katyusha opened it up to find photos upon photos.
They were all kirovets, all in order from the past to the present.
First one: Showed him, a little chubby boy, both bigger and taller than his class in grade one.
Second, third, fourth: All showed a happy life until it showed him watching Spongebob, with his mother who was on a hospital bed
The fifth: It showed a gravestone with the name 'May Kirovets'
The sixth: Showed his father drinking himself with empty bottles all around him.
The seventh: Was a blur, but she could make out a belt coming down onto him.
The eighth: Showed another grave beside his mother, it was his sister, her name was 'Taylor Kirovets'.
The ninth: It showed him alone in fifth grade, obese, unhappy, and alone.
The tenth: Showed him in detention after beating up the boys who took that tenth photo of him.
The eleventh: It showed a burnt down house.
The twelfth: A gravestone that his father's with his name 'Andrew Kirovets' on it.
The next ten showed him working out, and the TV in the corner of every shot playing a cartoon, usually Spongebob. His body over that time slimming, and eventually all of that weight coming back as pure muscle.
The next ten photos then showed him going into Tankery, and being put in the second command by Lenin, who was later on his shoulders.
Then she had reached the bottom, no more photos.
"I understand now," Katyusha said.
"I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I'm insecure about my height, and all these years of sitting on Nonna's shoulders, I thought it would help"
Kirovets shook his head in agreement and looked over to her as she spoke.
"Now that she has somebody she likes, I am no longer getting all of that love I used to get"
Katyusha started crying again, and Lenin wiped her tears so she wouldn't get colder as the tears would surely soak the blanket.
"Even though she will always be my best friend, I feel so small (Crys heavily)"
Kirovets spoke in a simple Russian tone "Your body may be small but inside your big. I feel small inside, but on the outside, I am big. I realized that insecurity, is like a battlefield, much like life, but you choose to let it thunder amongst a few raindrops when we can be sunshine. Nice flowing grass, or mud that we only sink in"
Katyusha replied, "It's true, so true, But how do I do it".
"You must learn to walk in the light shower"
"Will you walk with me for my first time commanding without being on her shoulders"
"yes"
Katyusha suddenly got out of bed and offered for him to take that spot. He tilted his head for a reason why her reasoning being that she was small and that sleeping on his chest would more than suffice in warmth.
He turned off the lantern, and they went to sleep. His body providing so much heat, it felt like she was pressing against a small furnace.
About a couple of miles away, the Japanese had set up a silent camp. No fires, or light, as they knew they were close by the small sounds they heard in the distance. Instead of the usual plan, they had a new one written
